Basic Steps:
- Check the minimum system requirements of the game against the customer's computer (Windows / Mac) and update any drivers that are out-of-date.
- Unplug all USB devices (aside from the mouse and keyboard) and try the game again.
- Disable the Origin in-game overlay (IGO).
- Update the game.
- Repair the game install.
- Update your system. (Windows) (Mac)
Advanced Steps:
- Run the game as admin.
- Check Windows compatibility with the game.
- Temporarily disable UAC. (Instructions found in this article)
- Advise the customer to perform a clean boot.
- Create a new admin account (Windows / Mac).
- Turn off DEP for the game.
- Run CHKDSK.
- Run the System File Checker, then uninstall and reinstall the game.
