Re: Pre existing injuries problem

I’ve been in couple madden franchise since the game came out. All Leagues want injuries on so its a real as possible. Sometimes injuries happen when we sim with injures on. All maddens have the same way of resetting injuries go to pre-existing injuries and turn off injures turn off and repeat. But for months it’s been grayed out

this has been frustrating for months. The whole CFM community relies on this to be on. Is there an estimate of when this will be on or was this turned off by mistake?

    Hey, @Dbush81

You're able to disable pre-existing injuries before a franchise starts up. Any adjustments to injuries during the season can be done through the slider via the commissioner. If you turn it all the way down to zero it should make it very unlikely for players to get injured on a regular basis. As far as I'm aware though, you can't toggle the pre-existing/injuries option on/off during a season. Appreciate the feedback on this as I've seen others bring this up too.

No u cant.....and its darned annoying!!! We started a CFM and all 32 users are now and we are about to start the season. Not sure why but commish forgot to switch pre existing injuries off and we cant do a darn thing about it now and its far to much effort to start over. Why oh why cant EA give Commish more powers to edit things such as injuries, trades etc and other settings within the game. Surely its not so hard?

@EA_Blueberry I've been running a Madden league since 2002 and I cant find a way to turn off the pre existing injuries in or out of Franchise. Could you please explain how it's done. I have:
    - Reduced injuries sliders to zero, both before and after creating an online Franchise
    - Turned injuries off in the online franchise

    What am I missing?

@TheeIRISHdoc This is done before the league is created. The team is looking into expanding more commissioner tools in Madden NFL 21 due to feedback from the community.
  • The reason people are speaking on it, is that last year you could turn off and on preexisting injuries.

  • This has been going on for years now and still no action by EA. Last year I completely lost my CFM with 20+ users and hundreds of hours invested. I was told I would get early access to this year's game and beta as an apology. That didn't happen. Emails were never responded to.  I was just ignored. I wasn't going to buy this year's game at all, but by October I was craving an NFL game and I gave in. I bought the game and started another CFM with my friend and now he's probably going to quit because even with injuries turned down on the slider to 20 he was losing 2 and 3 starters a game. I've now turned down injuries to 5 but the damage is done. EA doesn't care about the customer at all. Unfulfilled promises and lies are the norm. The fact that EA ruined my CFM last year and then lied about giving me early access and beta access should have been enough to keep me away, but I'm a football addict. The exclusive license is the only thing that keeps Madden alive. If there is any decency left in EA you guys will do something to help my friend and I that have been buying your game since it was good (over 20 years ago). Prove to me that you guys actually give a crap, because this 4 year old thread says you don't. All the same problems still exist.
