Multiplayer Balance Changes Feedback.

Having played some matches of multiplayer on the new patch, I can say it's mostly a step in the right direction. Here are my thoughts.

1. Gun Balance

(I change my stance on this. After playing even more matches on silver, I find that the buffs were mostly placebo and don't really do anything. Still takes 14 headshots to kill a raider on gold with the halberd, about 30 for the mattock. Really, just not ok. I have faith in the devs, but this patch in terms of balance was incredibly underwhelming. Please send this feedback to the devs, this game CAN'T continue on this path, we need drastic changes very soon).  Overall, I like the buffs. I feel as if more needs to be done, but these are signs of what's to come, and I like it. The mattock damage nerf was a bit severe and makes it feel the same as it did before, low damage. I would like to see the damage nerf reverted, and something added to most guns in the game. I have been wondering why guns feel so under whelming in this game, and I have found the problem. In ME3, headshots did very considerable bonus damage, that seems to have been reeled back a lot, which is a bad thing. It created a fun, skillful gunplay system in 3 where headshots were by far the best way to go. I say atleast a 50 percent increase to headshot damage would go a long way in buffing guns in a way that doesn't just make them more effective bullet hoses. I also think with this some accuracy buffs need to come in. Nothing major, but some guns spread out way too wide and get there too fast.  shotguns are so incredibly ineffective, and I hope they are in the works of getting some major buffs, they really need more of everything. Damage sucks, rate of fire sucks, reload speed sucks, accuracy sucks, etc. etc. For my last point on Gun Balance, I think either rarities or low rank variants need buffs across the board, and here is why. I understand that guns get more effective the higher rank you get, but to get higher rank guns you need to use guns of a lower rank typically. My rank ten avenger on silver with rank ten stability still is pretty inaccurate and tickles enemies, even with gun passives and turbo charge (I play turian soldier), it's incredibly worse for classes who don't spec for gun damage. I think my previous point of headshot damage would  help but other things need to happen too. I don't think the the avenger, or  the katana, or the common stuff should be a great viable choice in gold, but atleast it could get you through silver without as much of a hassle that it is now. This would greatly improve the experience imo. It's too difficult, but not in a way that's fun. Stuff just takes too long to kill.

2. Power Balance

I notice that nothing was done with powers this patch, and I understand that too many things can't happen at once, but I also didn't see a mention of looking into them in the future. Powers are just incredibly weak. They lack damage and have too high cooldowns. Combos are also underwhelming, I know they have added utility, but it's still just so weak. Not much more else to say about powers really, just please look into buffing them.

3. Enemy Balance

I am pretty sure it's just a by product of low gun damage across the board, but enemies are bullet sponges in silver/gold. We can't kill enemies quick enough with our nerf guns, and enemies spawn a lot, so you end up just getting surrounded with only nerf guns to defend yourself with. I think mechanically enemies are fine (the buff to sharp shooters was needed, they didn't do much of anything), but something definitely needs to be done about time to kill with most weapons. Feels like we are playing a turn based rpg with these bullet sponges xD

4. Character Progression/Gear Progression

I mentioned it in an earlier post, but I feel as if this is important. Leveling characters is so incredibly slow it's not that fun. I am a fond  believer of lumping them back together in classes and having the entire class leveling up. It made the game more fun and less of a grind, which it really is a grind right now. You only get about 15k more xp on silver than gold, it's almost not worth playing silver since it takes so long because before mentioned balance issues. Credits are a bit too slow as well, given how you have to get a character to rank 10 for it's max effectiveness. I think increasing the amount of credits gained per mission and giving you the option to scrap cards you don't want would be really nice.

(not something I can put into a category here but analog stick deadzones make me want to kill myself, if we could add a slider that goes down to 0 that would be mighty fine!).

This patch is a great sign of what is coming, but it's important to keep feedback coming. Thank you so much for supporting this game and listening to us.
