Attention everyone impacted by this.
We need some account examples to help aid the QA team. Please reply back with the following:- Gamertag/PSN ID
- Platform you play on (XB1, XB1SX/S, PS4, PS5)
- Date it started happening
- What happens when you try to select the Solo Challenges from either the Missions or Challenges tab
We apologize this is happening to you all. I know in the past I've seen this fixed by setting your lineup to BEST TEAM OVR with the lineup tool via the roster. There's a way items can get corrupted due to re-ordering depth charts and by refreshing it with the lineup tool that can correct it. Someone a while back mentioned they had this and was able to fix it by filling/removing the gap that was in their uniform selection. Please check your strategy and team tabs to make sure there aren't any gaps.

I noticed that was mentioned earlier but there are also some others on Xbox and Gen4 who are also experiencing this so it doesn't seem related to versions for the platform imo. Glad to hear it worked for you when switching from Gen4 to Gen5 if some have that option, but with the lack of Gen5 consoles out there I imagine this is impacting a lot of players on PS4 and XB1.
Appreciate you sharing the workaround here, that's one great aspect of these forums is finding answers. We'll try to have one for the rest of you all as soon as possible. The workaround to change the roster doesn’t work. I have zero gaps in all positions, tried changing uniforms, best overall or chems based, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works since the day EA released its most recent patch. I have lost out on playing Super Bowl related content and paid $60 to be able to access the auction house. This is on PS5. Disc version console with digital version of game. PSN ID: MyToiletSmells. Started game at 5:16pm CST and last time I attempted to load solo challenges was 5:17pm CST and it gets stuck like the attachment
It started on the latest patch on the ps5 I personally know 6 other people that has the same thing going on. With everyone saying the same thing I'm not understanding how you are not getting what we all are explaining. It's just a little frustrating to have paid to build an team an not be able to access the most popular part of the game for almost a week.

This started last week right after the update was released. Every time I select the solo challenges option, it just freezes as a blank purple screen and I have to restart the game to access any mode
- @EA_Blueberry did you actually read through the posts on this, because it's pretty consistent that it only happens on the next gen consoles running the next gen version of the game. I'm glad your imagination has led you to believe that this must be impacting PS4 and XB1 players, but that is simply not supported by the evidence.
I can almost appreciate your comment from the other thread (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Can-not-play-the-challenges-on-madden-21/m-p/10052314#M10376) that you have been out for a week so were not caught up, but now you have certainly had a chance to read through a mere 7 pages of posts, unless my previous guess that the ea team just doesn't care is true.
In the last week, how many people have now tried uninstalling and reinstalling or deleting their save data (a major annoyance by the way, since all my play call history and favorites are gone) because a member of the EA team told them to even though this is a known issue and those solutions do no good.
This is a major bug and an awful response from the entire ea team. Keep a tight grip on that exclusive contract, it's really the only to keep any of us playing the worst of the major sports games out there. Fanta_Fants05

and since I just got the game I can’t access the rest of MUT because a solo challenge is the first thing you have to do
Another day with no fix I guess. Can’t even play to get the free NAT 95s from the super bowl challenges before they take them down or won’t have enough time when a fix does come out. Could we expect a make right of those rewards?
Dude I’m at the point where make rights is plural, as in I expect something nice for this. Week 2 of no fix or playable content and the only answer given, if given at all, is “IDK but we checking”. Why did I spend nearly $70 on this if the only feature I bought it for is broken and the people who broke it have no answers???
Another day, and more wonderful content! Can't wait to... oh wait, I can't play it! Pfft, what a joke. Hadn't played Madden in four years, got the game a month ago, and welcomed back with wonderful tech support. With no promise of compensation, or "make rights", I can't wait for this "surprise" day when Madden will work at full capacity. What a dream... what a wonderful experience EA. I'm truly blown away.
I really love it when EA makes a game and decides to not fix it even though we pay $60+ a year for it. Just a lack of effort and support.
This is getting incredibly frustrating. Even if they fix it in time to complete the objectives, I won’t have time to finish them all so I’ll miss out on multiple free 95+ players that really help a NMS team
I haven’t been able to login to MUT but has this been fixed?
4 days since EA has said anything about it and all that was said was “ we don’t know, looking into it “. I’m about to perform a chargeback for every transaction on this game I ever spent money on and talk to my bank. TWO WEEKS IT HAS BEEN DOWN!!!!
@travisblank I really wanted to get those free players from the solos but I guess we’ll miss out with no compensation if it’s ever fixed. This is completely unacceptable and they should be ashamed

This started happening right after the last update. This is being caused by the last update and nothing else. We have all tried everything on our end and it isn't anything we can do about it.
Purple screen when you try to load ANY challenge, not just solo challenges. Then you have to close the game to unlock it to even play online games.
This is clearly due to the patch update recently released to fix the free-for-all passing glitch where you could throw a bomb to two or three wide open receivers even when the defense is in prevent, playing back, and over the top shading. Thanks for that fix but it caused another hole in the ship. By the way, the passing was over-corrected because now no one really is open deep even when the WR has a better release than the CB's press. Seriously, EA should call over to the employees at Sledgehammer games to figure out how to release a game with zero issues.

Why don't you look at all the cases about this. Should be able to understand the issue quite clearly. I cannot fathem how this issue hasn't been fixed yet. And especially that there is zero compensation for this atrocious customer service. Whenever any challenge is selected, the screen goes purple, and you HAVE to manually close the game in order to select anything. But, it will NOT let you go into challenges. Extremely unimpressed with the lack of help, and the lack of progress on EA's part. I have tried numerous of times to adjust my line up its like 20 cases on here and that's just the ones that know about the feed. Please give us something other than adjust your line up because I'm quite sure we all have done this by now. It's been a week an the fact that it hasn't been addressed by you guys is very disappointing to say the least!

Have you made any custom changes to your in-game settings or accessibility settings at all?
@EA_Blueberry We’ve tried everything at this point to fix this. This is on the MUT team and EA to fix. We’ve done our part so please do yours.

I've passed along the reports. Just a heads up, I'll be out of work the next 4 days. Continue to update this thread with any findings on your end you think could be helpful that's leading to this or any workaround fixes you stumble across. I know Solo Challenges is important in this game as die hard MUT player back in the day. I'll make sure I check on this immediately when I get back.
In the past the lineup change to BEST OVERALL helped resolve these errors which is why we always go to that first. Anyone willing to share their lineups to see if we can determine if it's a certain order of items in their lineup that could be causing this?
