Do you ask them what’s wrong when they’re sad? There could be a variety of causes - if they’ve been training and knocked over a rail or barrel, they’ll generally be sad due to that failure; certain traits can cause them to be sad in certain situations like being indoors too long if a free spirit; sometimes if you have goats one of them will be mean to them and they’ll be sad from that.
I have tried that, they remain sad even after I take them out for a ride. I have to restart my game for their emotion to change. Thanks for replying.
and i also do try cheering them up when it is needed and that works.
Taking them for a ride isn't generally supposed to make them stop being sad. You need to use the indicated interactions (the ones with the blue icon), which you've said work.
@coffeenacat92670I have even tried taking them out over three times it still doesnt work. I always restart my game when this happens.
It seemed to fix the problem when I moved off that lot.
