@allieverwanted1 It could be. It's not clear at the moment if this is a bug from EA (toddlers having new eyelashes) or if it's a deliberate but unannounced change ("as designed"). I haven't got a toddler I'm playing right now, but I do have one in a vanilla test save I have to do some stuff in this week and will have a look.
hi there, I'm having the same issue but with my teen/young adult sims- so I removed all the known broken cc and even took my entire mod folder out but the faces are STILL messed up! the bottom screenshot in the picture I'll attach is him before I edited his face in CAS and even with editing theres still some glitching in the eyebrow and eyes- it's also happening to the wife in the same household and I've noticed it in another household of mine as well. Again, there's no CC and I removed the entire folder and started it back up! As a side note I also tried to age him up and the issue persisted, but when I aged down to toddler and infant the eyes and face were fine?
@nanichan3 In a clean folder, before you put anything back, does it happen in a new save?
This is what’s happening to me rn. Shattered buggy face on my kid sim! No mods in the folder at all 😞
Hi @Kjfacts Please test on a fresh folder in a clean save:
Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Now launch "New" and see what you get for a child Sim.
As a second test in that new save, could you make a toddler then age them up in gameplay?
- @luthienrising I’m give it a try soon as I get home and let you know❤️
@luthienrising seems like when I try a new save (without mods in the folder) the sim faces are fine? What should I do after this then?
@nanichan3 Do you use MC Command Center? One thing you could try is this (and I hope I have the workflow right - it's not something I've done):
- Save your deformed Sims to the Library then exit to the Main Menu.
- Load that new save (or just start a new one) and import those Sims from your Library into a household. See if you can edit the Sims to not be deformed anymore. Save them back to your LIbrary.
- In your old save, use Paste Tray Sim on the Sim you want to change appearance of.
@luthienrising I do, I'll try that and let you know- thanks a lot!
- @luthienrising So it let me edit it to look pretty much like normal, I also moved my old sims 4 folder to desktop to start fresh again, however there's still the slight glitch in the eyes and eyebrows but it's not as noticeable this time. Either way, it's better than last time but still wondering what this could be lol
@nanichan3 Honestly, it's possible there are multiple issues in this thread. I think they might all come down to a possible (deliberate? accidental?) change to EA Toddler eyelashes that's caused glitches elsewhere, including in mods, but I haven't had a chance to test any of this out yet. I'm just glad it seems to not be hitting everyone, whatever it is!
