I am having issues with accelerating and braking.
I have found that upon accelerating that I can only go up to 2nd gear, and when I change into 3rd gear I slow down and go back into 3rd gear, even though my foot is fully on the accelerator peddle.
Now I was doing some research and found this guy who has a temp fix for the accelerating issue, ( [FIX] Need For Speed 2015 PC Acceleration Stuck Issue (Controllers & Keyboards) ) - If you dont wanna watch the video, the fix is changing the Acceleration and Braking sensitivity as well as the Acceleration and Braking Dead Zone all to max, and that will/ should stop the acceleration bug. However, I am still unable to brake - brake is not registering.
Upon custom mapping for my Logitech G27 Wheel, when I create a custom mapping for the acceleration and brake peddles, they both read as the "Throttle" peddle. Does anyone else have this issue? I have tried to mess around with all sensitivity and dead zone, but the acceleration is fine, its just the game is not detecting the peddles (it detects the throttle and brake as the same peddle, and does not detect the clutch). If i disconnect my G27, the keyboard works perfectly fine, and im not about to use a keyboard when I have a perfectly working G27. I have tested my steering wheel in Project Cars and it works perfectly fine. Even beat a few of my Personal Bests.
I find that this is not a hardware issue, but coding in the game, as my steering wheel works fine in other games, but not this game, and this is a shame really, because I have been really looking forward to this.
