Sims grab autonomously grab 'work lunch'

Product:The Sims 4

Platform: EA app
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time a sim is hungry and decides to grab food.
What is your current game version number? 1.109.185.1230

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu and Crystal Creations.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Wait for your sim to get hungry, they should autonomously grab the "work lunch" from the fridge themselves.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims automatically grab a garden salad from the fridge they do not prepare it and it is not leftovers, the salad just seems to spawn. Sims are still able to cook and store leftovers but when hungry they will not autonomously cook a meal or grab one from the fridge instead they only ever grab a "work lunch".
What do you expect to see? I expect my sims to autonomously grab and cook meals the way they normally would.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes I do play with mods and cc, however this bug shows up in my vanilla save as well where I have no mods or cc installed.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? It seems to have started for me after the most recent patch.

Sims are no longer cooking meals or grabbing leftovers autonomously, instead they keep making a "work lunch", and it's always a garden salad. Sims are still able to cook using a stove and grab leftovers if you make them. The issue is that they autonomously grab these work lunches every time. I do not have any cc or mods installed in my game currently and the issue still persists. I also tested out a theory and disabled Parenthood, thinking that it may be associated with the sack lunch interaction but alas that did not seem to be the issue.

  • What pack is the "work lunch" from?

I haven't seen it before, but I don't have all packs

(I would have guessed Parenthood but you tried without it already)

Or if it's from a mod, make sure you delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods

  • Yeah, I have it too. All DLC's besides Batuu, tried both with mods and without and the work lunch persists. Playing on newest patch.

  • @appledapple96 Lot 51 recently updated the mod Suite Life for (among many small issues) too much autonomous grabbing of "work lunch". When you tested without mods, did you full remove/rename the folder and delete the file called localthumbcache? Did you have Lot's hotel mod?

  • Deleted the localthumbscache and the Hotel Suite mod, booted up the game and there's no more work lunch. Reinstalled the mod's newer version and now my family takes leftovers (right now it's beans and sausage) from the fridge as intended and not the salad.

I tried this method but unfortunately this didn't work for me fully, I noticed the work lunch interaction was not always the first thing sims grabbed but in some cases other sims in my household would only grab the work lunch.
