Re: Sims are naked after taking shower/bath and dissapear in interface

@identyfikato Nothing I've seen recently causes this, but you could have 18+ mods (which I don't cover) or older broken ones that you found. Look at non-script mods for updates -- there's nothing special about script mods that would specifically cause this. Also, test with no CC. You can use the 50-50 for isolating broken content. Please use this topic for follow-up if you need any.

I have ww, basemental, extreme viol*** and mccc. 50-50 metod can be very hard to do cause i have more than 1k cc….i think i have updated everything so i really don’t have any idea what can it be…im so upset. I can’t even save my game cause game is loading endless because of that invisible sims in ui i think. I can’t try without cc too cause my whole family and House are done wirh cc so i will lost all my looks and rooms…im pretty sure everything is updated but i can check again. Really don’t have any idea what can cause that problem. I checked newest topics on forum and looked at list of outdated Mods so its way more frustrating…that save is my best right now and i can’t lost it….

@identyfikato Before you do a 50-50, make a copy of your Saves folder on your desktop. That way you don't have to worry about accidentally saving over when you're testing CC.

Here's a workflow that makes that 50-50 efficient -- and any true 50-50 test is the most efficient way to maanage your CC... and something you cannot always avoid if you choose to use mods and CC. For general 50-50 instructions, see https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mod-CC-Issues/INFO-How-to-Use-Mods-and-CC/m-p/13439356#FiftyFifty.

    That workflow:

    1. Copy-paste your Saves folder to your desktop as a backup. Now you don't have to worry about accidentally saving without CC.
    2. Drag the whole Mods folder to the desktop. Delete the file called localthumbcache.
    3. Start the game so it makes a new folder. Test in a new save to make sure that it works. <---- this will show you that it was a mod or CC.
    4. Exit and drag just mods not CC back into the new Mods folder. Start the game to test. If it works move that whole batch of mods to a new folder on your desktop called "tested", then delete localthumbcache.  If it doesn't work, check for updates. If it still doesn't work, drag just half the mods to a folder called "50" (this is the 50 in 50-50 testing), delete localthumbcache and test.
    5. When mods are tested, you can next test CC. You could even do this in a massive batch, or just two massive ones.

i will try. Also, do u think this issue can be caused by some furniture or clothes which I have even if my sims don’t wear them or furniture arent on my lot? Will 50-50 method work if I will be testing without cc furniture on my lot but only in my mods folder?

@identyfikato Yes, CC could cause this. Leave all the CC furniture and clothes out while you test gameplay mods. If gameplay mods aren't the issue, then test furniture and clothes.

I Think it works for now. I did 50-50 method and deleted the sims 4 folder to restart and refresh the game. Also I used the sims tray importer to see which cc my sims wear and I could deleted broken clothes - for me it was the cause of my problem. Thank you sooo much❤️ im happy in simscommunity are helpful people! See ya 🙂))
