I played online yesterday did some races then quit to lobby. Left my xbox on. My xbox live expired. Ehn I woke up noticed that it expired, bought new one. Now I can't play online It says: Item Synchronization Failed. Please contact customer support. Error Code: 40010000. Now I can only play in solo. What the heck? Anybody know anything why or what or how?
Happened to me just now. Started up the game in online gave me this code. Went into solo mode played 1 race. Than exit out. Closed app. Started the app back up went into online and code happen. Went into solo sold 3 cars. Closed app. Opened it back up than went and tried online. It worked but i lose 1mill and now back to grinding again.

It didn't work for me, Im using a ps4 slim btw. I went through the whole process and it's still giving me the error report. I still have all of my equipment but the game fails to allow me to purchase parts for my cars, equip parts, and play online due to synchronization failure. Good luck for anyone else who tries this and congrats for anyone that this technique works for!
all my cars and parts all gone now due to this issue.. will i be able to get them back? im on pc platform
I had a glitch similar to this back in late November, I lost all my cars and money. I wrote multiple complaints to them and they never fixed the problem. I haven't played since.
