- @WildeKnight07 These are some of my old ccx untuned times on the same tracks. Leapfrog, beachparty and sparkplug run (nitrous track) with untuned ccx.
Current times with tuned laf 's are way more fast by 2-3 secs! - @WildeKnight07
Well bots anyways have stronger faster cars, i've even seen 900 pr mustangs in underground. But eitherways , they can be extremely tough to beat, but definitely not unbeatable, and once you beat em, you just get better and the frequency of it increases! Your car is good enough to beat them. - Anonymous9 years ago
@jin1995x post some screenshots of races against AI Ghosts. These are screenshots of human ghost opponents.
What device are you running on?
- Anonymous9 years ago
@jin1995x there are many strange anomalies in BRR that defy logic and we know that different devices behave differently in-game and there are other 'mysterious' behaviours that make life difficult for some players and easier for others.
The point of my post was that AI ghosts should not be in BRR... it defeats the object of the game which is to pit your skills up against other players. Further to this, AI Ghosts with unrealistically fast cars in the lower SP ranks simply kills the game for everyone because you're going to lose 30 to 40 SP against these cars each time you race them. I've beaten an AI ghost once in season 3 by a few milliseconds... I should be beating it by 1 or 2 seconds.
- @WildeKnight07
6s . 60fps gameplay. Have 140 apps on my phone.
I don't see the need to post a pic against ai racers, since the track is essentially same and those times are possible on the track.
These are some ofmy new times though i have bettered two of em. But couldn't take screenshots!
Eitherways irrespective of what car your ai opps use, i can beat them. With an untuned ccx, based on the times given by them in that pic!.
I ve climbed so much using ai opps, i dont get ai opps any more. - @WildeKnight07 you've seen those untuned ccx pics, i have had the ai ghosts beaten by atleast .70 secs . Even better is possible. I personally don't see ai opponents as very tough. They are just tougher than you expect i had a hard time with trippa initially in season 2. But then I realised it is i who needs to improve!
that being said i agree, brr needs to kickout all bots. For betterment of all plYers - Anonymous9 years ago
@jin1995x agreed, getting better is always the highest priority... it's the reason we play after all. However, there's no joy facing up against AI opponents in a game that's supposed to be against 'human' ghosts. I want to work my way up through the ranks against other players... that's the whole point of BRR. But EA/FM muddy the waters by throwing in AI ghosts at SP levels they do not belong in.
- @WildeKnight07 well i agree with that. Hopefully the ai should be gone for good in a couple of days more.
- @WildeKnight07 anyways goodluck for this season!
- Anonymous9 years ago
@jin1995x good luck to you too... enjoyed the discussion.

i am done with brr i play for fun and to beat my own times and of soke talented racers like boss, nanofaces ,schlemmer etc, jony should be in that list too once he maxes out his ccx! I have become the king once. I can become that again. But no fun in it. Thanks though.

thank you!How many Ferrari LaFerrari blueprints did you have to buy from Holiday Season crates? And how many stars did your Ferrari LaFerrari have before buying the crates?
I've played No Limits from the very beginning, so I participated in every single one of Kelly's Blackridge Spirit special events (and gotten every single Ferrari LaFerrari blueprint possible from there).
That is how I have a 7-Star Ferrari LaFerrari and 45 / 80 blueprints for the last star.

I've been practicing driving my Koenigsegg CCX (even though it's not fully maxed out yet) in Campaign to prepare for Blackridge Rivals.
Believe me, you won't be disappointed. 😛
It's not "how many more days?" It's "how many more weeks?" 😉
2 weeks until my Koenigsegg CCX is maxed out and finally unlocking Car Tuning for the first time.
I need to farm 3 more Engine Scanners from Tuner Trials before my Koenigsegg CCX is pumped up and ready for action. (Two of them next week and one of them the week after next week)
Since I only have an expired VIP Level 1 (from Lamborghini Accademia special event being delayed in 2015), I don't have any VIP perks at my disposal.
And I wouldn't want to have VIP perks anyways.
I'm playing No Limits without spending real money and it's going well so far as you can see. :eahigh_file:
It'll definitely take me much longer to farm materials at Tuner Trials as a free player, but I can handle it.
I'm a very patient player when it comes to gaming.
I have this way of thinking:
1. If I have time to play, then I really have time to play.
2. If I don't have time to play, then I really don't have time to play.
That's all there is to it. lol

Once again, EA/FM take whatever smidgen of fun and excitement we can eek out of BRR, right out of the game, by introducing more and more AI Ghosts with impossibly fast cars that far exceed any kind of PR capability us mere gamers are confined to. (gamers being the generous folk who fund EA/FM)
Since the start of season 3 my SP has remained around the 4,500 mark because it's impossible to progress. Why you might ask? Well it's very simple... when you start making progress towards 4,600, BRR 'randomly' pits you up against an AI Ghost with 4500 SP in an untuned Koenigsig or even a McLaren ... which should be a cinch to beat in a maxed out CCX fully tuned with 7 spanners and a perfect start, Right?
WRONG!
The AI Ghosts have some 'magic' under the hood that us mere mortals are not privy to. AI Ghost, 'Mikey_M' has a jet engine in his McLaren, because even against my perfect start, I'm sucking on his NOS fumes from the first second, Against my 'perfect run' with a new personal best time, he's already sitting at the clubhouse sipping on a virtual Martini, while I'm finishing up the race!!! ... and I'm 30 to 40 SP down for the privilege!!! WFT? Rinse and repeat and before you know it you're trying to fight your way back up to 4,500 after a few of these UBER AI cars.
I've posted just a few examples below... Note these AI Ghosts are typically way better than my personal best with full tuning.... and they ALWAYS have a lower SP, so that when I lose, I lose BIG.
So much for BRR being a player vs player tournament! It's just a total scam. Currently I'm racing AI Ghosts as much as 30%-40% of the time. They always have a perfect run and finish with the same 'record' time each race, give or take 0.01 of a second occasionally. What exactly is EA/FM trying to prove or achieve by introducing AI ghosts at the lower SP levels of the game? I can understand introducing them occasionally at the top end of the leader-board when there are few real player ghosts to match against.
Anyway, I'm well past being annoyed by the lack of intelligence, fun and genuine competitiveness in NFSNL.... but seeing @Spetty1504's post, I thought I'd give the English version of what he's on about. I'll just continue playing my 15 annoying BRR races a day for the cash, until I've maxed out all my cars in the garage with black parts.
@WildeKnight07 The "AI opponents" that you and everyone are racing with are actually No Limits devs.
@Haemophilus_EA wrote:
So, here's a juicy tidbit.
All the ghosts of 'bots' in-game in BRR, those are actual real-life runs done by members of the development team which have been recorded, usually by one of our designers.
They'll do a variety of cars, at various stages, tuning, etc, and literally do the track over and over again, racing each car by hand. There's no computer/AI generation here, just straight up human racing.
So when you next come face to face with a 'bot' ghost, know that in fact, you are literally racing against one of the developers on the NFSNL team 🙂
PS. Trippa is real. He's a short walk away from my desk.
Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/nfsnolimits/comments/5mpsh3/hacker/dc7tf9l/?context=3
So that means you're having trouble winning races against No Limits devs. 😉
As for me, I've raced with three of the hardest devs.
They've given me quite a challenge, but I prevailed in the end.
Keep in mind that I did all of these with a 7-Star Ferrari LaFerrari.
So yea. I have no issues whatsoever winning against No Limits devs, although it's very difficult and requires flawless driving and fastest car possible. There was no room for error when racing against the devs as one little mistake (such as failing to get Perfect Launch) means it's a loss.
Anyone remember the Fastlane special event (featuring Nissan 180SX Type X) infamous Hunter races? This brings back memories.

PS... one BIG hint if you do want to compete in the top 200... get yourself a really slow device like little Jony (i.e an iPod Touch) so that the game slows down to a snails pace and you have all the time in the world to dodge EST's, ramps, roadblocks etc and to pick the perfect line every time. No need to have fast reaction times or figure out what you gonna do in milliseconds... you have all the time in the world!
*Facepalm*
This is one of the BIGGEST misconceptions I have ever seen here.
Have you ever heard of input lag?
Input lag is the delay of pressing something and seeing the game react on the screen.
If there's input lag caused by lag in No Limits, then you would probably hit something you would otherwise dodge if there's no lag.
The game ignores your commands frequently if there's input lag.
For example, you're lagging in No Limits and there's an ESF charging to zap you.
You press left to attempt to dodge the ESF. However, the game ignores your command as the game is lagging.
You, then, get zapped by ESF as the game has input lag caused by lag. You would have dodge the ESF if the game wasn't lagging.
As I said before, this is one of the BIGGEST misconceptions I have ever seen here. And I'm genuinely surprised how a "veteran" (note the quotes) like you has even thought of this.

You are seriously underestimating of how capable I am when it comes to racing in Blackridge Rivals.
And you're claiming that I play with a slow device when you don't even know how my iPod Touch runs.
Do I need to remind you how you struggled with getting Perfect Launches during Blackridge Rivals Preseason?
You came here to get some advice on how to get Perfect Launches after losing an excessive amount of Blackridge Rivals races due to fail launches.
If it weren't for this "genius racer", then you would still be down by the docks and dreaming of the Blackridge Rivals Top 200 leaderboard.
By the way, I got match-maked with you plenty of times in the previous Blackridge Rivals seasons.
And from what I've seen of your driving, you really need to improve.
The issue is not with your opponents. The issue is you. You just need to improve.
As Dark Souls players would say, "gid gud". This means your driving skill is average and you still have a lot to learn when it comes to pushing your cars to the limit.
@WildeKnight07 wrote:
On a slow device, it doesn't matter whether you use tilt or touch, either way you do not require lightening fast reaction times and have plenty of time to ponder whether to go left or right and weave your way past these irritations with ease.
After playing NFSNL at max speed for over a year, your reactions become so well honed that playing at a 10th or even half the speed, makes winning child's play.
In slow-mo... dodging EST's and all the other obstacles was so easy I actually laughed out loud when I realized how most of the guys at the top are actually getting there. So much for all the back slapping and aggrandizement of NFSNL's so called "Icons"
Personally, I'm a high speed kinda guy and playing a game with 'trainer wheels' attached has absolutely no appeal to me... that's for the little ones.
I actually laughed out loud looking at this post.
But hey. You can keep using pathetic excuses to cover up the fact that you need improving. Well, whatever floats your boat.

I'm also trying to ride BRR for fun and it is really hard, but opponents matching sucks at all. EA/FM didn't work on it enough or not. It cause me, and I see not only me, frustrated.
I submitted requests to FM, however each of them was marked as solved with comments like it is not an issue - I'm double frustrated.
I'm racing 997 Pagani (8-star, parts black, without scanners only) and matched with any Viper, 650S, Aventador, CCX, LaFerrari, no matter if tuned or not, the win is the matter of 100% luck or EA/FM intent to make me angry = wrong opponent matching.
The only reason to race BRR is to farm cash and that's is all.
There is no more and probably will never be any other benefit. I didn't receive anything at the end of S1 and S2 being Icon II. Sorry - I receive, demote to Icon I. ;|
This is the most unfair and ridiculous event ever made by EA/FM in history.

@THEJAJO More like 50% skill and 50% luck.
50% skill is from your driving skills.
50% luck is from traffic sync and police roadblock sync.
Sometimes traffic sync and police roadblock sync are broken and it means your opponents could go through traffic with no speed loss or you see no roadblock on your screen.

@TheRealJony Sorry, but I can't agree with you, that the win is the 50/50 matter of luck/skill, as when you have perfect everything, super race line, probably better car than opponent, etc. the wrong opponent match ruin it which mean you have to be lucky and opponent must crash or something else.

@THEJAJO That would either mean your opponent just had a faster car than you or your opponent didn't make any mistakes with their faster car.
There is some skill involved when racing in Blackridge Rivals. You don't expect to win any races if you keep crashing onto walls, do you? 😉
That alone proves that 50% is skill.
Now for the 50% luck, there could sometimes be broken traffic sync and police roadblock sync like I mentioned in my previous post.
For example, you see a police roadblock on your screen and swerve to dodge it. However, you see your opponent went through the roadblock and lost no speed at all. The reason is your opponent had no roadblock on their race.

I talked to Jin about making a crew to represent the English-speaking community in Blackridge Rivals (as you can tell from the amount of Chinese players with "CHN" that they're probably a crew) and he was up for it.
