Having this issue too. Why do we pay $70 for this game?
- ajkloss83 years agoNew Traveler@lechtner03 if it got addressed that it was at least being looked into then I'd feel better. Voices dont seem to be heard on this and apparently it was a thing in 22 with people not getting answers all year. seems like it should be simple, but would like some transparency.

Unfortunately just went to try the suggestion from EA as far as changing all visual elements in custom jerseys. Changed everything from logos, colors, jerseys, mascots, arena.. did not help. Has anyone gotten this to work for them without creating a new club?

Two weeks and no update. It’s almost as if EA doesn’t care….

But like I have mentioned in multiple posts, this was an issue going back to at least last year where the replies on it were always "this is something we are aware of and investigating." I don't have much faith at this point. They can keep saying it is being looked into for as long as they want and we can do nothing about it.. Sadly, EASHL doesn't generate extra revenue so this issue isn't even close to the top of the list of things to address.
Hang in there. There is a post about it in World of Chel that you can keep up with too. This is happening on the PS5 and quite frustrating. I don’t wanna make a new club and level up again please get this fixed ASAP

It hasn't been resolved yet, unfortunately. When it is, we'll announce it on our official channels and relay that here.

We actually found a workaround by adding a third member to our club and assigning him as an assistant captain. This completely reset the jerseys again. We played a handful of games last night with our new custom jerseys.
I haven't tried today, but literally never saw the club jerseys when I was assigned assistant captain originally. DEFINITELY SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING WITH THE CAPTAIN STATUS to give the devs something to focus in on.
- ajkloss83 years agoNew Traveler@stevo3737 Oh yeah it’s always been linked to that I believe. I’ve tried taking off all captaincy and reassigning to no avail. I’m just confused, you had a third member join the club and just gave him the second assistant captain and we’re good again? We have 5 on our club so I mean we have one captain and two assistants already assigned.
@ajkloss8 Ya we invited a third guy who had never been on the club before and made him assistant captain. It completely reset the jerseys (I know there's another bug report for that *facepalm*). But we edited the jerseys and they stuck through a night of club games 2 nights ago. We didn't club last night, but I did jump into the dressing room and we still had our custom jerseys.
My partner had NHL for PS5 to start the season and created our club. He played a couple club games with friends but didn't actually invite them to the club. He had no jersey issues at all.
I got PS5 a couple weeks ago. He accidentally left the club public so I joined it but I wasn't captain yet. I could see our club jerseys when I was editing my guy. But then I explicitly remember joking before our first game that I wasn't going to play until he made me assistant captain (I was always captain on PS4). So he assigned me my "A" and we've been stuck with the black jerseys from that point until we added the third guy and made him a captain. If you've played around with the captain status, maybe we did just get lucky.

nothing like making a post in October on a seemingly simple fix and being told it was a known issue that would be looked into/worked upon.. Yet here we are in February with ZERO updates.. exactly as I expected would happen. This is just very discouraging, especially considering that the same issue was on the forums last year with no resolution and carries over here. you guys clearly dont care about getting this fixed or it wouldve been by now. Why cant there just be an option to entirely reset club options/customization?? I just cant help but feel if this was something in HUT there would've been a fix back in October. makes me want to be done with this series after 15+ years.

I'm very sorry for the frustration with this. I really don't know if this will be addressed for NHL 23. The only option currently is to start over with a new club. I definitely get this isn't ideal, but you should be able to customize the new club.

This is such an unacceptable rollout! I’m beyond disappointed that we may have to start a new club to fix it, as this is the only solution I’ve come across in the multiple threads I’ve read. Shame on EA for staying mum on how many problems this game still has in its customizations for CHEL.

My club has this issue too now and this has been a problem for a long time.. I get that you all believe HUT is where the money is and EASHL doesn't generate extra cash however I would bet the game wouldn't be half as successful without and likely the reasoning for most of the games sales.
