@EA_Kent I'm having the same problem so when I start a ranked game I get blu screen and crashes plus -120 points because I'm master and then ban for 10min. It happen 17 times after the last update of the game. I reinstalled everything but nothing it keeps going. And I'm not the only one so many people is happening. Why dont I get lost forgiveness if it's not my fault ? It's the game. My ps4 pro is new its update to date and plus I never have any problems with any other games only with apex. This is getting really annoying. I lost over 3000 RP just for the crash.

I see you are also having the issue. Since the last update of the s8 I've been having lots of crashed and the same issues mentioned above. My guns are invisible, no sound and then games crashes and the ps4 goes blue, the code is the same as the one mentioned before in other comments

When you've got a chance I'd recommend starting with the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. If you're still seeing any issues happening after that try running through the PS4-specific steps as well. Let me know if you're still seeing any of the same issues after that. /Kent

If none of those steps helped we should also try updating your PS4 DNS settings as well. The DNS is basically the address book your PS4 is using to figure out the route it needs to take to connect to its destination. In some cases changing this to a different route other than the default DNS can help with issues like this. To update the DNS settings on your console follow these steps: Open up the Settings on your PS4, then go to Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either WiFi or LAN cable depending on what you're using. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual) Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection Let me know how that goes when you can. /Kent

This has been happening for a while. It only happens on this ps4 the sound cuts out half way into certain actions then cuts to complete silence. things like my hands and guns turn invisible also. It then freezes and I get the ps4 error screen. It messes up all my ranked matches and destroys my K/DR. I have reconnected my internet. I have rebuilt the ps4 data base I have initialized the ps4 and backed up all my data. (witch took over 24 hours to reinstall everything). I have deleted and re downloaded the game. updated the game updated the ps4. I have done everything I can think of to fix this. No other games does this so i dont think its the ps4. I cant figure out why this happens. Im considering just getting rid of the game all together because It feels unplayable at this point witch is sad because its my favorite game. If you could help me fix it I would be so happy

Hi there,

Thanks for the updates! CE-34878-0 is the general error code that comes up when an application stops working on PlayStation 4, so I'm afraid it doesn't give us a lot of context on what exactly might be causing the crashes.

If you're seeing issues with missing textures leading up to the crashes it sounds like this might be an issue with the game data itself. Unfortunately there isn't an option to repair a game installation on PS4. Instead we would need to fully uninstall and reinstall the game. I know that can be time consuming, but if you can try reinstalling the game I would really appreciate it.

I have the exact same problem as the other people described. I have reinstalled the game two times now. Eventually my PS4 crashed and I needed to reinstall my Software which deleted everything.
My connection is fine and every other game runs perfectly on it (PS4 Slim 2019 btw).

I don’t know if this helps but here are my exact informations:
Systemsoftware: 8.03
System: PS4 Slim 1 TB from end of 2019.
Apex Version: Version 1.58 (just updated recently)

I am also using a Bluetooth Headset from Turtle Beach.
Maybe someone from this thread has any similarities?
I know that Apex works fine for a friend of mine who has a fresh PS4 slim version.

PS: I have never had issues when I played Season 01 to 03 but I stopped and wanted to play in Season 08 again. But it is unplayable as of now
And yes I also get the PS Freeze Error code as well.
