“Apex Units” Party Lobby Expansion

All of us have come here to share why we think this game is great, where it needs progress and the like. I have several ideas that I may eventually suggest, but the most obvious and beneficial is as follows: 

Apex Units (it could be called Squads for all I care). Many of us by now have probably suggested Apex to a friend or 10, and needless to say, the most tedious part of the game is not being able to play with more than 2 friends at a time.

What if there were a way to have an expanded lobby past 3 players, maybe up to 6, 10, etc? If a person doesn’t have that many friends playing, the remaining slots would be filled with smaller squads/units and separate friends or randoms/solos upon matchmaking. 

TLDR; will party lobby’s ever expand past 3 players max, so we can play with more friends at a time, and what say ye? 

A mode where the map is divided between a 30 vs 30 in the form of alternating opposite colors would be a decent idea, or even 5 legions of 12 (so 4 squads of 3 players each being on teams, 5 times/colors) since I think matches are 20 squads = 60 people on average. Then again, maybe the game would end rather quickly.
