10 Minute Ban is stupid

This is absolutely ridiculous and will cause a lot of loyal players to leave this game.  I was in a game the EA server timed out, kicked me and now I have to wait 10 minutes.  This is just stupid and agree this needs to be fixed or adjusted.  Also, how many games have you all been in where your teammates are idiots and run off, get downed you go pick them up and they just leave you to get picked off or they just run off during a fight and you end going 3v1 and have to wait until your death timer ends before leaving the game, because if you do you will get a 10 minute penalty.

EA - You need to fix this and stop this crap.

    Hi @Player_l138gi9i 

    Based on your description, it seems that you were playing ranked.

    Ranked = the more competitive gamemode. Those penalties are implemented for a reason.

    Your team cannot have a fair fight if you leave directly after being downed/killed. You shouldn't leave in Ranked.

    If you do not want to get these penalties, I would suggest NOT LEAVING in ranked, or NOT PLAYING ranked.

    Also, yes as a solo player you'll sometimes get teammates that underperform to your own standards. Those players are in every rank btw.

    So if you don't want them, you could try to find people to play with. For example via Find a Squad here on AHQ, or check out the official Apex discord server.

    @Player_l138gi9i 10 minute timer is not even enough in my opinion. You leave a game i feel it should remove you from the entire day of being allowed to play. You act like bad team mate then bad things will happen. This is why the game has the bad rep it does.

    People want a decked out rank team yet dont make one and complain because they play withthose who are not as good. In reality they are or they would not be in same rank as you. Some people just think they are a lot better then they actually are. They want to try tell the party to do one thing when they have not even considered the other 5 things. I see all too often people complaining about their team not being as good as they are. Yet they are in same rank as you. Yet they are stuck in the same rank as you. Players should stop hoping for high standards from their team and instead should be seeking higher standards from them self.

    I can easily solo que to diamond 3. Because my skill level allows me to do so. I dont rely on my team. It is awesome when they can help and do help. But i never expect amazing team members.

    When comes to errors ive seen very very very rarely it do as you stated. Anytime i have ever been removed from the game via code net error or even my own internet it instantly places me directly back in the same lobby. I honestly feel like people use these "Code Leaf" error reports in ranked to actually justify the reason they left and have a escape goat. I have yet to see what most here complain to see. So I am either out of 13k + games played and 3500 hours extremely lucky. Or something just dont add up with these code leaf 10 minute time outs.

    I didn't leave, as I stated, fairly clearly, I was in a game, the server timed out and it kicked me all the way out, I went back into Apex and I was on a 10 minute ban. And no, I don't leave just because I play with idiots in ranked, if they run off like little chickens after I cracked two shields and downed the 3rd just to get downed and out, I sit there until my death timer runs out.  So if you can take on a full squad with a blue shield they have two blue and a purple shield and win, well I would like to see it.  Maybe I'm just running into really bad players but as a solo player who hopes to find better players on ranked it doesn't seem to happen as often as expected.  But alas there are really bad players no matter what game mode you play.

    yeah, same * every day, don't know why they won't fix this piece of * game, but if these stipid people in the forum didn't read right what you posted, do you think Apex developers are going to listen?

    Same. Today I left the game because another team member had already left and the other one just ran to the ring. Was I suppose to wait there? Knowing I was not gonna be brought back? Stupid. Lost 24 points for nothing. That's why I don't really play ranked. I play alone and I get stupid people on my team and I just waste time waiting for them to do something useful.

    He was talking about EA and how trash their servers are and how you get a ban because of it

    @Player_l138gi9i While I generally belive the 10 minute penalty isn't a good enough punishment for people who abandon games, it's isn't fair for someone to be punished due to a genuine disconnection error or apexs server issues

    @E9ine_AC I do understand what you mean by that you shouldn't leave the game but sometimes whenever you attempt to reconnect its says unable reconnect I'm not sure if its because my internet or the server but i personally don't feel like i should be punished for having a bad internet connection thats just dumb to me
