10 seconds in (Literally)

- 1st game after the training
- Dropped down with the team
- Couldn't find a weapon within 10 seconds
- Dude started raging on the voice chat

I immediately left the game, because it got too annoying to listen to.

It's sad because you can actually see who the new players are in this game based on the records on the loading screen.

I'll give it another shot with a friend later on, since he keeps praising the game.

Edit: I feel like voice chat should be off by default, so that new players can play their first game in peace. Maybe even have game detect the first game for a player and make voice chat completely unavailable for it, or maybe even first 3 games or something like that.

This was possibly the worst experience I've had in an online game, ever. And this coming from someone who played League of Legends since season 2 in a community that's considered to be the most toxic one. Just saying.

No, but your reply just supports the idea that it's not a good community.

Anyway, point is that at least several games at the beginning should go without an incident of any sort.

I guess next time I go into a game, I'll just mute everyone, separate from the team completely and do my own thing until I figure stuff out. Thanks o\

So you played one game and after 10 seconds you summed up entire apex community and top it with your disability to turn off voice chat or mute that one guy?

Well i had only twice someone with voice activation mic and i just muted first and asked second to make it push to talk which he did, instead of you leaving in 10s and going to complain on forums about that one guy who dared to say anything to you via his * microphone, also ruining game for third guy. Do you think every other multiplayer game that requires teamplay is better than this? in terms of community? It can and happen in every game to someone, you just got lucky this time but that doesn't give you right to call everyone else a * because of few people in game or on a forums, you are just spoiled millennial that thinks everyone will treat him like your mom does.

Yes, the community has its bad apples. But what community doesn't? Logically speaking, you cannot base your assumptions on one incident. For example, me, I am a Wraith main with 700 kills and I play only with randoms. I get them wins, I get a lot of kills, I make them happy. Yes, of course, I've met toxic players, but I don't let that get to me. I just work around it. I turn down the voice audio if I see someone is mic spamming or trolling in any sense that is interfering with my gaming experience if it really does get annoying. Other than that, I've met wonderful people who actually want to try and work as a team. You played one game and came on the forums to complain about your experience. When people are having fun playing as we discuss, just keep playing, and if you played League of Legends, then shouldn't you be used to this? I am sorry to say, but you sound entitled. What is coming on the forum and complaining going to do? Lol.

Why are people psting like it's the first time they played an online game with voice chat? If you have a problem with people, then YOU turn off voice chat.

Press TAB/ Show Inventory.
At the top of the screen there are 3 tabs: Inventory, Legends, something else...
Click legends.
Behold all muting options!
