120fps series X and ps5
Hello everyone. Keep this short as possible. I do not want an argument on how 120fps is not noticeable or AA stuff lol. I own a series X and I wish to play it at 120fps. This was promised over a ...
Morning.
Yeah this post is old but I gave up. Sold my Xbox and spent 2k on a PC lol.
I still play controller but on 190fps on 2k monitor now looks and feels so much better. Game has improved immensely.
If anyone on console is reading I'm afraid to say it's a lot easier on a PC.
I used to be sub 1 KD now I'm nearly 2 KD.
And I'm in harder lobbies.

Good decision. Remember to unlock framerate after disabling vsync by editing advanced option for steam in library "+fps_max unlimited"
I bought PS5 for exclusives but have PC as well. So top games for Xbox also get released for PC naturally being Microsoft.
PS5/XBox feels like you're tied to one digital store or 2nd hand market for discs. At least with PC have Steam, GOG, Ubisoft, Epic (lol), also access to alot more indie games at a fairer price.
I mean 70 bucks for a PS5 game, single player. OK if epic RPG, but not for a 12hr linear campaign with no replayability or online component. Even Dead Space remake is miles cheaper on PC than consoles. Both are digitally delivered.
At least with Steam, don't have to worry about backwards compatibility in future generations. It installs required things to happen.
PS5 is as great console though but only handful of exclusives.
But when Xbox Series X and PS5 I knew it was suspicious how they were so cheap, now we see already there are compromises in graphic settings in their games. Quality mode 4K 30FPS or 1080 30FPS etc. Only games with low textures like Borderlands 3, COD, Dirt 5 can do 120FPS.
This new next gen doesn't feel like a giant leap compared to before as it seemed they wanted to keep initial hardware cost low.
But now with delay Sony exclusives are actually making its way over to PC anyway! Spiderman is a hit on Steam.
The only annoying thing is Apex there is no cross progression. If you move platform you're back to Season 1 starter characters and have to unlock them all again. I'm bouncing back and forth between Apex on PC and PS5 as still undecided if I like the higher skill ceiling on PC but at least the team mates are more cooperative.
