2024 nerf aim assist?respawn

@derankall Aim assist does need a rework, but for me, the biggest issue is things such as strikepacks, xim, etc. Those need to become bannable offenses as its 3rd party equipment that basically enables cheats.

- Strikepacks lets players reduce recoil, resulting in zero recoil

- Xim lets players use M&K on console, however the console thinks the M&K is a controller, which lets the player have M&K and aim assist

- Cronus Zen lets players use scripts. They can do things like rapid fire weapons, anti-recoil, etc.

Regardless of what one believes, my opinion is if you're using anything other than just the controller itself, (meaning you have an addon, controller paddles, whatever), its cheating.

The definition of cheating is: "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination."

With that being said, strikepacks, xim, and the cronus zen all fall under the definition of cheating as they enable things the player wouldn't been able to do.

Console doesn't have M&K input, and I remember plugging in one into a friend's Xbox to see what would happen, and the game went, "please unplug that or else". Well, actually it said that the input wasn't allowed and that the account may be banned if we kept trying to use it. So, that means xim is cheating since M&K isn't allowed on console anyways. What about strikepacks and cronus zen? Yup, those are cheats too. PC players aren't allowed to use macros, and often times macros are considered cheating anyways, so that means the cronus zen is cheating as well, while strikepacks do things like reduce the already reduced recoil, which is an unfair advantage, so its cheating by definition.

TL;DR: Aim assist needs a nerf, while things like strikepacks, xim, cronus zen, etc. needs to be bannable as its just flat out cheating.
