How is it possible that rampart is still OP after nearly 5 years.
specifically her alt, once she’s going there’s no way to attach head on, and incredibly hard to attack from behind as her movement, although reduced gives ample time for her to turn round before she dies.
Balance is the last thing that matters in Apex. What the devs focus on, is forcing you to play "metas" and seeing which one retains the most players.
It doesn't matter that Rampart is OP, she has a low pick rate. It's boring camping behind her covers. Most of the time, you end up obstructing your team. That's why I never played her again.
I found a Rampart that was able to shoot my head and never miss a shot, all before their gun spun up and through the floor. Was really fair and balanced.
Sure I get that but when a rampart, a controller legend, with a mini gun can crack a blue shield and eat into my health, all the way from the 3 story building in fragment to the centre point of monument you have to start questing what the creators were thinking in the first place. She’s not a controller, and even if she was a assault she would still be unbalanced
