A minor detail: +1 in the chamber
Just a minor detail to add. When partially reloading there should be one extra bullet in the chamber.

Wrong, they don't count a chambered round for anything. A purple mag CAR for example is 27 rds. not 27+1. If you reload with 5 rounds left, you don't magically get an extra +1
