@Balladalidila Most likely for the same reason one of the duos who's a diamond or higher player playing in the silver/gold lobbies with their rookie-gold friend, because they can and nothing is really done about it.
People try to say smurphing and things like toxicity isn't a problem or to just ignore them, but its not that avoidable.
Its also annoying when the duo players actively play rank as if it was a duos only, as in looting everything, especially the building you dropped at, not grabbing your banner when they had a chance to, etc. and then they just turn around and get mad when you either do it to them, or play as a solo as if they didn't exist.
