About the conditions for activating emotes

Is it possible to prevent the emote from being triggered when the down button is pressed immediately after a battle?

When I use Mirage, even though I have many opportunities to press the down button, the emote comes out unintentionally during a very important scene in battle and stops my movement.
I know that if I remove the emote from the emote wheel it will not trigger, but then the emote cannot be triggered during a match. Emotes should only be able to be triggered when you want to make sure they are triggered.
