@NandoRos2077You are aware that the significant majority of players are not deaf, therefore an option to switch to something like you mentioned would be available to all and that would be a bad addition to the game. An indicator for the direction of the footsteps is simply a "radar" for everyone.
I don't know how to sugar coat this but fps games likes there are simply sound based and if you are deaf, sorry but tough luck.
- 4 years ago@NandoRos2077 Understandable but in a high-intensive gun fight, some sounds get blocked out from all the shooting and focus. The one thing that does get seen is visuals, in that case it would be visual cues. No need for a hunter either, too.

That’s a * thing to say tbh. It would be just like fortnite. It doesn’t give anyone an advantage whatsoever. I think it’s a great idea
- 4 years ago@Schaapje1987 Then deaf mode should also mute the whole game if deaf mode is enabled.

@op
There is something called sonic radar that Asus provides as a download.
I'm not sure if it is allowed so you should check with respawn first.
I was first on the mindset that it is a cheat.
But now I think anyone with a good headset will outplay it, but it does what you are asking for, it visualizes sound into a visual radar overlay.
I did not read the rest of this thread so apologies if it was mentioned already.
- 4 years ago@NandoRos2077 That’s the point, it’s not for hearing people, it’s for deaf people.
- 4 years ago@Jesx822 Yes agree with you. I'm a deaf player on apex. I think that great for deaf people need that easy to visual stuff ping and target here .
- 4 years ago@DarkMirageSoul I hope this feature becomes a thing eventually. Thanks for your feedback 🙂
