Add disable all text chat feature, please god?

@NV_Tantei You can disable it if you mute the person. I also think this lag is from the text being converted to audio. Is this feature turned on or off for you?

@SolitaryMassacre It’s possible that it is, I’ll have to check once I’m home tonight but if we assume I wanted to not have any incoming chat from voice or text (I.e. to prevent trash talking since that’s 99% of the time the only thing they use it for) why can I disable all voice chat and not do it with text? But I will definitely check that this evening because that would be a lifesaver when they do use text chat ❤️

@TheApexLegendNub I can already mute my teammates every match vocally in the settings but honestly vocal trash talking I can block out even if it’s annoying and interferes with my sound… but I can also adjust my sound settings to lower their voice volume… the problem isn’t that I don’t want them chatting or talking trash I just don’t want it to freeze my game up when they do it and I’m in the middle of combat. You can maybe see why that would be an issue? Especially in ranked… the funny thing is I’ve looked up information on this infant places and there IS an option to turn off incoming text being converted to voice chat on PC but there is not that option on Xbox 1 for some reason. So while that’s likely the issue there’s no setting option I can choose to remedy it aside from manually blocking all teammate text chat in my pregame selection settings… why is the setting there for pc and not Xbox I cannot possibly understand, it’s an already coded feature of the games settings

@SolitaryMassacre It likely is the conversion thing causing it but ironically there’s a setting to disable it on pc apex but not on my console. No clue why they feel the need to give them this option but not extend it to others…
