It would be great to have the option to turn it off, due to those times the aim assist takes your aim away from what you want to shoot. And for some including myself find aim assist way to much inter...
@Popa2caps But then he has to play with Advanced Look Controls and that's complicated. Lately, i play with advanced but i know what i'm doing. The aim assist option should be outside of Advanced Look Controls. If you turn on advanced and turn off aim assist and then turn off advanced, aim assist will be enabled again.
I copied Advanced Controls from an Apex predator on Twitch xD but their settings are always super crazy fast so i had to lower them a bit to my sensitivity which was 5 or 4 Look and 4 ADS Look.
I've spent few hours in firing range and i had some bad games.
The Predator had very low Deadzone and i had right stick drift so i increased it a bit.
Also, he had zero none Response Curve (i think it's linear) and my aim was twitchy so i increased the response curve a bit for my ADS Look to feel smooth.
I like Advanced Controls because you can turn up a bit the ADS Pitch Speed (ADS Look Up and Down) and i think this makes me have less recoil. 😱
I can't go back to normal settings 😅
I still use Aim Assist because when you play on High Sensitivity it helps when aim assist lowers your sensitivity around the target.
Yes sometimes aim assist can mess you up at very close range fights but overall i think it helps you.
Try to keep your distance a few meters away from the target and then shoot.
These are my settings (but it's new for me i always make adjustments)
I have Turning options down. I watched streamers have them all the way down.
It's the only common option.
Less complicated options for me.
Deadzone: 3-4 clicks
Response curve: 9 clicks
Per Optic settings:
1x ( 1.0 )
2x-10x ( 1.2 )
Yaw speed: 28 clicks
Pitch Speed: 20 clicks
Turning Extra Yaw: 3 clicks
ADS Yaw Speed: 14 clicks
ADS Pitch Speed: 10 clicks ( i think this controls the recoil, find what's best for you, not too high not too low )
