Decent fps nowadays delete aim assist , only terrible games keep it.

A recent game called The Finals released a very clever aim assistance balance in the game. The developers have no rotational aim assistance in The Finals which means that players still need to react to the enemy player even with aim assistance active.

The Finals is probably the first game that’s tried to balance the inputs. You’re completely right though, developers and games with aim assistance can never be considered to have competitive integrity. Competitive integrity comes from an even playing field on all levels and in all ways. Big hopes for The Finals and big props to the devs there as well.
Apex Legends has virtually no chance of ever changing their PR as a lackluster comp game to the professional community at large. Very big miss by EA and Respawn. They should have listened to the professionals that play their game.
