Could you please separate players using aim assist from normal players? I don't care about consoles, i don't care about controllers, there should be an option for EVERYONE in the game for aim assist ON / OFF. If you turn that ON you should only be able to play against other people who have it turned ON. And vice versa, if you turn it OFF, you would not be matched with players using aim assist.I don't know in what kind of schizophrenic reality this is, but in a competitive game, by the spirit of fair play, putting together aim-assist players, with normal players should not exists. Someone please explain me, how is it fair, to allow certain people in certain scenarios to completely ignore recoil, while the other faction of your community has to deal with recoil control, recoil patterns. How come that you "balanced" Havoc and Flatline with increased horizontal recoil, while also have a feature for some players to completely ignore it during fights, and deliver perfect burst?!Did you know that people on PC using reWASD and other 3rd-party softwares to remap their controls as they would play with a controller, just to exploit aim-assist while using mouse and keyboard? Can't you see how ridiculous the whole situation is? Hey, i wanna play Apex with a steering wheel... can i get an option where i don't even need to aim vertically?Please, EA / Respawn tell me at least you are aware of the situation and working on solution! So maybe we can get back in Season 8 and find a competitive FPS game...

I use controller & just want an option to turn off Aim Assist. I like the advance controller settings, and I would like to turn off the Aim Assist. I also Play other shooters with good controller settings with Aim Assist off, for consoles & PC. And I don't agree with any of the previous comments for the most part. I understand that consoles has a stronger Aim Assist due to the limitations of 30fps, which delay in visual information then responding. Now that consoles can reach +60fps, I can see Aim Assist being weaken, as Aim Assist on PC is weaker than console, for consoles that can reach those frames per second. The advance controller settings are probably not use that much by casual controller players. If there will be a New Gen Console version of Apex, maybe the changes will be there.Controller players have several limitations, the inability to strafe while looting, the delay when picking up items, and the inability to map every button or unmap undesired buttons. I play against both console & PC players, and I don't complain about Aim Assist because I got better at playing against them. I still report cheaters, and squads working as teams.

@-R-RiCE41They won't be doing anything the game is dying. Every other game that has forced console and pc players to play each other has done it because of population drop. By leaving crossplatform on Respawn is basically admitting that their game is on the verge of being dead! Simple as that. There is no other reason to mix the two types of input device/gaming hardware.I have quit/deleted the game from my machine and am looking for another game. Can't stand valorant. I just hang out here because now I find I have time on my hands.This game is great when it works but this latest season is just terrible.- The map is bad! 3rd partyville.- They let steam have access to the game. It is now hacker central. Also another indication of the game dying.- Forcing PC M&K players to play with console kiddies and controller pc players. Aim assist in this game is stronger than any other game being played at the moment.-Sound is worse than it has ever been.- Respawn letting hackers take over their servers. My theory is that with all the console kiddies 9 railing pc players with r99 and aimbot err I mean aimassist!! the PC players are retaliating by installing cheats and figuring if they get caught who cares they want to quit anyway.My advice is to look for a new game.

it's not just the lack of recoil when it is tweaked too high.Itis the reaction time of a cpu to that of a human.And if you artificially try to limit that you will be making it unfair for some by picking some random number.

I usually got teammates below level 50 against full pre-made high-tier players (like You see in the pictures). So basically I am a cannon fodder for them.

How about making it so that aim assist will only work on players who are also using aim assist if you're not using aim assist then assist should'nt work on you its only fair.

@-R-RiCE41 Theres not enough players in the player-base to fill the queues with players who have crossplay turned on/off so how do you expect there to be enough players to fill lobbies with aim assist on/off... I agree that there should be an option to turn it on/off in settings so players can experiment without it but for separate lobbies that won’t happen anytime soon and possibly won’t ever happen

@Brandoblu69 I understand why I need aim assist when playing against mouse and keyboard players because they have superior movement and aim because they have a full range of motion available with their mouse while a controller player only has a very little ammount of wiggle room with their sticks to aim with but I have never understood why console players needed aim assist to fight against other console players and what makes even less sence is why aim assist is 40% on pc and 60% on console... it should be the other way around but im not complaining I do just fine with 40%

@FaIIenAngeI777 I don't view Aim Assist as a tool to close the gap between M/KB but a tool to make controller useable in shooters.
Devs have tweaked it as a means to close the gap between different input devices like in Fortnite or to account for the lack of skill in single player games but again I don't see that as it's purpose.
It exists to help with the awkwardness of using thumbsticks.
@Brandoblu69 That sounds reasonable but it's extremely biased unless you're going to hurt the mobility and long range accuracy of PC players when a console player is in the lobby. Skill and intelligence should decide who wins not who receives the most assistance (Aim Assist) or who has the superior system for competitive gaming (PC).

@FaIIenAngeI777I doubt there are not enough players to fill the lobbies. The total player count (including console players) could be around 1 million active player (according to playercounter [dot] com). We barely have to wait anything for the matchmaking to find a casual match.

Aim assist is not Aim bot.. stop pretending you are losing fights because of it. Go use a controller on PC, if it is that godly you should be pred in a week.
