The problem is the instantaneous direction changes on controller with 0ms input lag tracking mouvement.
In PC lobby, Aim assist should be disabled.
If you are not happy, go play on your platform or the same input.
1- no aim assist in PC lobby if controller input is detected.
2- give controller players options-out : Crossplay on or off, you wanna play with the big boys, remove aim assist show us your true skills.
3- aimassist violate Fairplay in PC Lobby.
4- Advantages on both side mnk and controller, the whole point of competition is fairplay, competitve integrity.
if MnK isnt fair against a controller or vice versa because they both have their pros andcons, THEY SHOULD NOT exist in the same world.
NOT IN ALL FIGHTS BUT...
Gamers get artificial boost to their skills and they violates fairplay because now the aim assist give them extra advantage on #controller in FPS Games .Anything that artificially aims for players or helps aim or whatever, it shouldnt happen.
Controller aim is very bad with thousands of hours playing I still can't control a havoc with a 3x... but on Mnk I could do it in a few dozens hours. Go figure.
- AcidicSoda440313 years agoSeasoned Ace@Palette24carats the Havoc is just terrible on controller. I hate it so much to the point I'd rather have a Mozambique or the P2020 instead. Without the turbocharger it takes forever to start firing. And even if I manage to start firing, the shots just go all over the place. You know, everywhere except on the target.
Yeah, whenever I play on controller I just avoid the Havoc like the plague.
On MnK it is so much easier to control. It is still not among my first picks, but at least I find it usable, even without the turbocharger. - Midnight97463 years agoHero+@Palette24carats The only game where you could be a pro at using only a controller is Call of Duty. Back when I played on the PS3 version, (2013) I've gotten good enough to make a whole lobby in a "free for all" target me. (3 people even got on mics saying to target me). Everyone just got wiped out and the match ended with me having 32 or so kills and zero deaths.
But here's the thing, it's a point and shoot type of game and a lot of what I was doing was handled by C4s and things like airstrikes and dog strike packs. The time to kill was also very low. Everyone was killable in like two bullets or a knife stab.
Now Apex? Yeah when I was trying the controller on PC to see that the issue was about, I instantly switched back to mouse and keyboard because I couldn't hit targets as easily.
While on console, (going against console players only), aiming was a bit better but I sat there wishing I was on a PC because I was basically a useless teammate.
I've said it a few times before and will say it again, nothing is wrong with aim assist and in fact it often gets in the way.
I've actually turned it off when I was playing Call of Duty back in 2013 because if someone runs in front of you or something else gets in the way, your aim would pull towards them even when you're scoped in with a sniper. The pull was also way stronger than it is in Apex.- Zer0_Calculati03 years agoNot applicable
not because u cant play with controller means that aim assist isn't a cheat . it is . if u are good with controller and got used to it . aim assist gonna help u a lot specially in close fight . if it is useless so when all of controller users using it and why some streamers changed to controller instead of mouse and keyboard . and why in some other games console players are bad and cant compete with mouse and keyboard players. I am may be blew average players but to got knocked in one second even without hearing the sound of the gun means there is something wrong . aim assist must be removed at least from pc . but EA always have its own purpose and agenda at anything . to be honest most companies now do the same .

...because AA has the power to muffle gun sounds and kill in one second...
That wouldn't be AA then.
