Aim Assist gives you Lazer precision aim in close combat with incredibly easy recoil removal, with powerful tracking.
It removes the need to compensate for recoil 'and' aim. You just slightly hold the stick down, and aim assist does the rest.
And furthermore, if my stats are bad, then you're proving my point.
I'm not an aiming master, never claimed to be.
Apex's matchmaking pissed off streamers because it gave them more equal fights they couldn't just roflstomp their way through.
So I should be against people of my own 'bad' skill level, and yet I'm getting put against people who don't miss any shots.
So obviously these other 'bad players' have some advantage.

No wonder he doesn't understand. There's a massive difference between console and PC aim assist.
Consoles can keep their aim assist as is, or make it stronger, doesn't matter to me either way.
PC is intended to be keyboard/mouse, and it shouldn't give massive advantages to other input options. - @Popa2caps I've played on PC, it's exactly the same if not less smoother to use a controller, isn't as good as you're both pointing it out to be, like i've said many many many many many times before... There's no point in responding to you anymore, you're a console player, this is a PC discussion. And the facts have already been clearly laid out.
Not to mention you just said controller on PC is less smooth, after seeing video evidence of increased aim assist on PC.

I said I played apex on PC before and the smoothness of a controller on PC is less smooth than it is on console. If you stopped and actually had a think about it, even logically speaking my statement would be true regardless because a console is made for a controller and a PC is not really meant for controller but games still have a lot of controller support and that is why some games are better with controller and some feel 'off'.
FYI, I was not insulting you, I was stating opinions backed up by facts.As I have been doing throughout the entire thread. If you don't feel the need to respond, then don't. Aim assist really isn't as strong as you think, because the main point which you're stating is that you don't need to aim, which you do, it doesn't "stop" recoil because every gun has recoil regardless. Moving R3 down 1-2 inches is the same as moving your mouse down a little to counteract the recoil.
Like I've said before, I clearly know what I'm talking about here; i've posted my stats and I am currently level 500, I have more than enough hours to confidently tell you that if you aren't getting more skills then it is because you need to improve. There is always room for improvement in a game is there not? Also, there is not any sort of sbmm in casual which I had recently found out myself after looking at a couple of threads on the forum. If you feel insulted then I don't know what to tell you, because I'm not narcissistic and I do not get any sort of pleasure of feeling/acting like I am better than others. We're all of the same blood are we not? Right then surely you should see that this is constructive feedback.
Skill level was not the point, the point was you have not invested enough hours into the game to be able to confidently pinpoint that aim assist is too strong on PC. @MoNosDirtyGaming

This topic i started is about how i don't think aim assist shouldn't work on mouse users and/ or controller users who have their aim assist turned off. If you don't play on PC and also a mouse why would you at all care about what we're saying?

Your entire argument about how a controller player should lose aim assist when facing a PC player who doesn't have aim assist has no logic whatsoever. That means that a controller player has to get used to 2 different sensitivities, which is aim assist where it slows the sensitivity down when aiming at a person, and aiming again with just raw input, you have 101 keys and can use your entire arm. I don't see dizzy or shroud or anyone else complaining about it, so why is it that you are? Thus it comes down to my comment from above, hours invested and skill.
Don't worry about my custom built gaming pc, all you need to know is that I have one.
- @MoNosDirtyGaming I've played plenty of PC fps's to confidently say Apex clearly has an exploit with aim support, and I've tested this.
Go play with only keyboard and mouse for the next 18k kills, see how well you do against the aim assist users. As cocky as you type, you should be able to roflstomp those people using 'inferior input'.

Now since you're actually NOT talking about aim assist with constructive criticism as much as I'd hoped, this post is clearly NOT about aim assist but how you feel some type of way because of TEXT, so I will leave you with this link from someone who is more experienced than me and you at apex AND a controller player. If this post hurts your feelings because of some text, then I don't know what to say except maybe go outside and stop taking everything so serious?

- @EA_Darko The replies made in this thread are heated yes, but they are purely driven by a passion for a great game on a format (pc) that players are quite specific and touchy about. No reasoning can be justified as to why a certain group of players on pc are allowed 'aim assist' and others aren't and taking the nature of a pc, it is bound to be exploited and abused to a level that will ultimately drive players (assets yes) away...There is no sound reason for anyone to play with a controller on a pc other than for the application/addition of 'aim assist' accompanying the choice of input!? As a pc is supposed to be mouse and keyboard orientated? I don't go and play xbox with a mouse and keyboard do I? Why would I? Unless it offers an advantage...Which is exactly what is happening on PC APEX LEGENDS now :-( No way do this many players have Godly aim! You don't enter an official race against Usain Bolt and get a rocket booster strapped to your back purely because you are slower than him, end up winning, and justify it as a fair race do you? It's cheating no matter what angle you look at it! Why is it allowed in APEX pc then??? Remember what input the core pc player uses...that should be prioritized

In the end I think the sensible solution would be to simply place controller users in controller only lobbies and K&M players in K&M only lobbies so there isn't such a debate about it anymore. But then the issue arising would be loading times for controller players on PC or playing against the same players constantly.
I personally think emulators should be forbidden to be used on the PC platform since someone did mention in this thread that they use one to make Apex assume they were using controller when they were in fact using K&M. Doesn't matter which way you look at it, would you not agree that it is exploiting the base games mechanics as they have K&M + Aim assist all in one?@ooG0R3ooWell said.

I fully agree with all of your post. It could be detrimental to lower the player pool to group from, but I would imagine player retention would be higher if people felt like they were getting fair matches, against similarity skilled players, with identical input potential.
Also, I fully agree that emulating keyboard and mouse as controller should be considered cheating, and ban accordingly as it provides an unfair advantage through an exploit. The ability to use an emulator to turn your keyboard and mouse into a controller, then switching 'aim assist/compensation' ON is the downfall of any FPS game on pc bottom line! but go on Youtube and look it up...in current state, videos are still being uploaded and comments are still flowing (from a fresh wound) on how it works in Season 5 APEX :-(
It is a reality and guys I get why a controller 'benefits' from it's use, but anything would logically benefit from it's use it just does not justify it's integration on pc (in current state) where exploits are bound to occur by the dozens! The intentions of Respawn might have been true, taking the possible addition of cross-play into consideration, and hence the preparation for just that ie controller support on pc as such, but the reality is as inflammatory as dropping a lit match into a petrol filled balloon :-p (yes the repercussions depend on a lot of factors :-p )
There is no judgment towards console gamers finding glory mastering controller play (on consoles), as there's none towards kicking balls into nets for a fortune while saving live earns you none (generally), but this is 😇 PC! (Personal Conduct :-p )
