Aim Assist Update Please

Make it only work on people who have it active.

If controller users don't like playing vs mouse & keyboard, they can at anytime move to a Xbox One and/or PS4. If PC players don't like it, we have to deal with it? This isn't right.

Aim Assist in PC games should be just like crossplay with the ability to turn it off in the servers we play. I for one want the same server with the device i play on at that givin time. I'm starting to see more and more mindless players in Apex, but once they aim, their better than some pros, like come.

At least there should be 2 servers "Public - Aim Assist Enabled" "Public - Aim Assist Disabled". You could also mix both groups of players as long as you made aim assist not activate on a mouse user, but i'm not sure how hard that is to code for.

I want to play Apex PC, I'm trying real hard to learn mouse & keybaord, but it's very hard when one you know how easy it is to use a controller, and two everyone just beams you with little to no though.

Please fix this issue.

I fully agree with all of your post. It could be detrimental to lower the player pool to group from, but I would imagine player retention would be higher if people felt like they were getting fair matches, against similarity skilled players, with identical input potential.

Also, I fully agree that emulating keyboard and mouse as controller should be considered cheating, and ban accordingly as it provides an unfair advantage through an exploit.

The ability to use an emulator to turn your keyboard and mouse into a controller, then switching 'aim assist/compensation' ON is the downfall of any FPS game on pc bottom line! but go on Youtube and look it up...in current state, videos are still being uploaded and comments are still flowing (from a fresh wound) on how it works in Season 5 APEX :-(
It is a reality and guys I get why a controller 'benefits' from it's use, but anything would logically benefit from it's use it just does not justify it's integration on pc (in current state) where exploits are bound to occur by the dozens! The intentions of Respawn might have been true, taking the possible addition of cross-play into consideration, and hence the preparation for just that ie controller support on pc as such, but the reality is as inflammatory as dropping a lit match into a petrol filled balloon :-p (yes the repercussions depend on a lot of factors :-p )
There is no judgment towards console gamers finding glory mastering controller play (on consoles), as there's none towards kicking balls into nets for a fortune while saving live earns you none (generally), but this is 😇 PC! (Personal Conduct :-p )

@Blasian311 Your stance here seems questionable. That's the most diplomatic way to put it but this is a discussion of the issues PC players are going through.
Don't steal attention from their problems.

@Popa2caps I agree. Black Ops 4 Blackout did not have any aim assist in the game at all on PC. That's the way it should be. You wanna use a controller? Fine, but you shouldn't get an advantage because of it. At this point in close range combat, it is hard to tell the controller players from the aim-botters. I am tired of playing a game perfectly only to lose to someone who just has to look in my general direction.
