Aim assist

Hello there!

I'd like to ask, what is your opinion about the OP aim assist in the game. Interestingly there are lots of players who barely miss any rounds from any weapon. The best happened to me, when a random dude (became the champion in the round and had 1000+ headshots on his banner) turned towards me after i shot him from about 100 m and gave 3 headshots to me with a Wingman that had a red dot on it, ending up downing me with that burst. But as i said that's not the only time i met ppl with aim assist. Is it because they use controllers? If so, why did they implement so accurate aim assist for controllers, or do they use cheats?

Before you check my stats and call me a whiner noob who calls everyone a cheater who kills me, i know i dont have good stats, lots of kills, and wins. But I'd like a normal answer to my question.

    You had me until you said 'OP aim assist' I play on PC with controller and i can tell you that it just isn't the case.

    This has nothing to do with "controllers". There are many people who are very good at aiming. 

    You have to keep moving, and shoot at them while they are shooting at someone else.  Either that, or you have to out-dps them by landing your shots with a better weapon.

    There are videos of aim-hacks, so it is possible there are a few cheaters... but in 80 hours of gameplay I've only seen 1-2 players that seemed suspiciously surreal at landing consecutive headshots on different people.

    Okay then. Btw how can you play shooter games with controllers? They feel so unnatural and disturbing for me.

    haha, yeah i know what you mean. I've been a console player for 30 years, only been PC gaming for 3, with FPS for the last 1 so pad still feels better for me. hoping to get a gaming keyboard/mouse soon though so can switch and learn.

    Well just that they have aim assist on controllers it says they are pretty bad for shooters, yeah some can learn it but kbm is way easier for newcomers and has higher skill potential.

    "OP aim assist" lol, I prefer playing with controller just need aim assist that doesn't work like aim bot.

    its not funny at all. I would call ,,op aim assist" if every aim goes to head.

    nah aim assist isn't on pc apex legends and I still reck with my controller.. Im just wondering are they going to every put it in, because when Im aiming directly at a guy and I hit none of my shots, I sit there like wtf. I should have played console

    you should see the pc players who use keyboard they one clip with a flatline from 200 meters aim assist is not op at all
