This game mode should cater to pros, competitive players, and ALGS fans, and be a place to scrim with the competitive community, similar to World Series of Warzone lobbies in COD.
This game mode should have an end of season invitational.
Note: I was watching Verhulst and his Pred-tier team play Ranked last night. His team intentionally ran into the ring to fight and ended up being eliminated. I've seen a lot of pro teams play this way in Ranked. This type of decision-making would never happen in ALGS play. I stopped watching. 🤷♂️ Players will not take a competitive mode serious unless there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
Moving forward I'll be playing no-fill Pubs (unless a leave penalty is added) and Wildcard. Y'all can have Ranked. I've solo queued to Diamond at least a dozen times since Season 2. Ranked isn't evolving and it's not worth my time anymore. 🤷♂️
I still enjoy watching the ALGS. Unfortunately, it looks like a totally different game compared to what competitive players and ALGS fans are forced to play currently.
I hope in the future the game has a competitive side that's fun to play and watch, outside of the ALGS only.
