Allowing using keyboard and mouse on new generation consoles

I’m playing on Xbox and lately I’m hearing form headsets that some guys are using keyboard and mouse and consoles,they have mic open and hearing it. If is like that then why not not make options to use a keyboard and mouse on consoles and the game it is crossplay now,but if you use keyboard and mouse on consoles then you match with pc. That’s my opinion just that because I also get killed by people who are using keyboard and mouse on consoles and they have advantage because of aim assist and that not nice

    @Cr0w4y Well for one Apex Legends has zero to do with if your console can use mouse and keyboard.

    They are using a third party application to obtain this. They in other words suck at the game and need a huge advantage over controller users on yalls platform. All it boils down to.

    It's very true that Respawn should have already allowed the use of these devices on console. Their competitors COD MW / Warzone / Fortnite already do. And people wonder why Apex Legends is struggling.

    My opinion is someone at the top at Respawn is biased. I want to bet that they play with a controller and can't cope with the idea of having to play with people with a mouse & keyboard.

    A side note.

    Good chance someone is using a 3rd party device to use a mouse and keyboard while playing. They don't use it for the keyboard, They use it for the advantage of aim assist + mouse.

    EDIT - I don't mind people using mouse & keyboard and/ or controller. I don't like aim assist at all. Most games that have it, I disable it, yes on controller, Screws with my aim. I also dislike 3rd party assist apps that allow the use of macros and scripts.

    I play Warzone all the time with a controller. I played with a controller on PC Apex Legends as well. BTW most people on PC now at the high levels play using a controller for the extra aim assist.

    @Popa2caps They also use a program called Xim. This allows your pc to be tricked into thinking the controller is the main source of the computer. Thus the game also follows this logic which then grants mouse and keyboard aim assist.

    These programs and 3rd party software is a bannable offense. The TOS clearly states using 3rd party applications to gain advantages over others in punishable. Yet we dont see this prolly never will. These programs make bad players good. Make good players gods. Sorry but they just dont belong in competive games. How can it be competive when they need help aiming in first place exploiting a 3rd party application. Id love to see all these big time streamers and players who do use this to remove it lets see how good that aim is now.

    I edited my post, Seems I had a misleading part. I myself don't care for the type of device a player uses, but dislike aim assist and 3rd party apps that allow scripts and macros.

    Yea I play on PS4 and all of us console players have a disadvantage because the game is cross play and you could get in games with pc players that use keyboard and mouse. If any game is cross platform you should have the option to play on keyboard and mouse or controller no matter what game it is. And you better believe that I’m not buying no $1,500 pc just to play on keyboard and mouse.
