Alter's abilities suck

@Palette24carats Enemy players can follow you through the Void Nexus, however they'll have to wait for the portal to crack open. What I mean is wherever you teleported from, you leave behind a portal that slowly opens. Once it opens up all the way, anyone, including the one who created the portal can take it back to the Void Nexus.

Another thing to note is that the portal will warn you when someone else follows through the portal. The portal lasts around the same amount of time as Alter's tactical. Each teammate who uses Void Nexus will cause a portal to be created, (max of 3 portals back to the Void Nexus).

If you ever see an Alter tactical, but its not on a wall or surface, it looks different, and has its own sound effects, that's the portal left behind from whoever took the Void Nexus.

I'm guessing this is meant to prevent Alter from having a Wraith's tactical back when it was an instant phase.

Its also important to know that the portal will give away which direction the Void Nexus is in. You can tell by looking at what direction the smoke-like trail is going in:
