Apex arena rating system is broken
I've done 10 qualication games teamed up with my friend and we both got silver IV. So at first we've been given 104 points for a win and -12 point for a loss. After playing 10 games solo same day I've lost around half of them and after that I've been given 30 points for a win and -12 to -13 for a loss. Then I've played with that friend next da and he still gets 104 p for a win and -12 to -13 p for a loss. At this point it seems quite fair, I've broke my win streak. Okay.
Then my friend gets into gold (we've been playing together all the matches except those 10 solo, and of course he ranks up 5 times faster than me) and he gets 70 to 100p for a win and -12 to -13 for a loss. I get 30 to 50 p for a win and -12 to -13 for a loss being silver III and playing in a gold rank. And no points for overcoming more skilled players.
I just don't get it. How it works. what's the formula of that ranked system?
There's no scaling of difficulty. No matter which rank you're at you get -12 points for a loss either silver or gold. And with that matchmaking system where you being 400 ish level player get a squad of 2 players under 100 level playng against 500+ level 4k kills premade squads. This system is comeplitely broken.
It seems like the system tries to equalize mid-high skilled solo players with with 2 low-mid skilled and expect those players to carry the match.
