@RaBear445 As far as I know of, other games allows keyboard and mouse on console, so it shouldn't be much of an issue.

This function should also be considered as there's sadly a lot of players using XIM, which is a hardware that "adds" it, but the players get aim assist along with it since it makes the game think they're still using a controller.

Maybe with direct support, a lot of the XIM users would stop using XIM.

Or companies like EA, Epic, Blizzard, etc. can all band together with Sony, Xbox, Nintendo, etc. to get strikepacks, xim, chronus zen, etc. all hardware banned so they can't be used. That would be nice. (Although, Xbox sells controllers that are basically strikepacks, so I don't know).

As for the input base queing, that would only work if it locks players in to using one type of input. On PC, if you plug in a controller and use it, your input switches to controller. The moment you use the keyboard or mouse, the input switches back.

This would mean that players could que using a controller and then once the match starts, they switch to a keyboard and mouse, which then lets them be a PC player in console lobbies.

The sad thing about every idea is that there would always be someone who would abuse it.
