Apex Legends Ability Adjustment Part 2
Hai it’s A Bowl of Cereal again my previous post I’ll leave a link to below but I want to do an overview on the Legends based on their changes which they used some of from my post almost exactly before I’ll add on my new ideas. My main I’m still not really a fan of his scan range but they did decrease the time from 35 to 25 and made it last 5 seconds duration like I asked the range makes it really easy it scans for miles and locates every team in the area. He still has no offensive or escape ability but can be on the frontlines unlike Crypto. But he still is kinda a solo Legend if you can’t communicate with your team. I would add how long ago on pings in the feed to help out and his Ultimate if he pings or damages an enemy in anyway everybody can see them until his ultimate runs out and they take additional damage if marked during his ultimate and he should be peaked no way to upgrade him any further. And I guess if he directly pings an enemy it could scan them for a brief second his ultimate should not make him color blind to loot or knockdowns shields.

They opted to not slow teammates but they can’t see well in his gas which made him less of a solo Legend he’s peaked the only things to improve on is enemy gas should be Purple cause if there’s 2 caustics always make the mistake who’s gas traps on who’s team and his ultimate should deal 25 flat damage on impact since it sorta is a grenade.

I had no improvements basically for him last time but I do now. He got nerfed really hard he isn’t garbage but like nobody plays him anymore. I would decrease his grapples cool down to 25 vs 35 and make it actually work like a grapple hook to the location or swing off of it but put a limit on height, momentum and time his grapple can stay clung so he can’t move as fast or far as he used to be able to. Zipline should be destroyable by anyone so it can’t be used by enemies and to stop him from swinging back and forth from above or an entire team from approaching but only the base can be destroyed should have 50 health. Instead of using survey beacons he should automatically scan for the next ring location since he is a robot he is the beacon it is called “Insider Knowledge” right?. He should be good now unlike Loba’s teleport he can use this around corners since it’s a grapple not a straight shot yet she isn’t trash same cool downs though. She’s the best Legend in the game movement and team wise which unfortunately made Lifeline useless that ultimate is way better than any care package she could use plus her passive you can ping buildings and locations with good loot if you communicate enough and it charges so fast.

While we’re on Loba she’s perfect and the closest you’re going to get to having a load out in this game I would make her ultimate take 30 seconds longer to charge though she peaked by launch.

I would still swap tactical with Crypto and enemies should be marked and take increased damage prevents using healable items for 10 seconds vs silencing for him based on his play style and attitude also improve his passive like I did before. He would be on my dream team for late game or just engaging an enemy now that his ultimate teleports you back with 50 health. You can either use this for free damage and a 2nd chance to push a team or if close enough and a teammates finished use it to grab the banner and get out of there even if you die in shadow form even better.

My changes before should still stand he’s too strong now with charge towers he can double ultimate teams. They opted to decrease his dome time than based on damage taken it last shorter think my change would have been more effective.

Same as above my changes should still stand but I will change his drone range should be a full 360 degree range to scan enemies but make the drones movement half as fast if moving vertically or horizontally things so fast and very hard to hit unless you have a machine gun moving forwards has no speed penalty. increase health to 50. Also send it forwards upwards then you can control it so it can at least be in position to scan without him being left vulnerable in close quarters unless you hold the ability to control it from the start. To recall use a different button I try and say thank you I recall the drone so many times.

Still the hardest Legend for me to fight cause of the constant speed if I try and shoot them. Ultimate missiles should explode on impact closer you are to the blast more damage 20 to 5 but do not slow anymore and this is the perfect Legend. Out in the open and get caught by this gonna be a problem should make this even more respectable.

They used a lot of my ideas but I would still allow him to send up to 2 decoys they should actually look around while moving not be so obvious or actually be a Mirage and turn into another legend momentarily. His cloaking revive not sure if I like it probably would be better for Wraith she’s the only one that actually does anything like that he can only cloak momentarily but I definitely wouldn’t give it to her still. I thought we supposed to see a lot of him? Why does he have this then?
<(Lifeline)>
With Loba and Mirage existing she’s fallen very far even with the changes I gave her previously but I think I know what to do because they exist now but even now she would be the other member of my Dream Team not sure why but Lifelines are always usually really good players every time I see them unlike Bad Bloodhounds. She should use healable items twice as fast like she has the previous Gold Shield perk since she’s used to using them all the time anyway be a real Combat Medic makes sense. Reviving teammates should revive with full health no shield but keep the speed, Shield was loud and gave away your position a lot. Her (D.O.C Heal Drone) should be able to either heal in the aura I described before or put up a shield that absorbs damage for it’s duration allow it to be switched between healing and shielding on the fly. Ultimate remove her care package since Loba’s is that and much, much more and give her an area heal 100 health to teammates and yourself within range 60 second cool down. Should be peaked now.
<(Class Types)> I seen this around but not sure if it’s real yet but this is how I would make class types.
(Offensive) Can hold 2 of each grenade.
(Defensive) Revive teammates and yourself with full shields.
(Support) Can carry twice as much ammo and healable items.
(Recon) Detected enemies take 25% increased damage by the whole team when scanned or pinged directly like always can see through walls if detected but Pings only last 1 second unless re pinged to reset the timer.
