Apex Legends as more than just a Battle Royale Shooter

Apex Legends took the world by storm on February 4 2019 when it released out of nowhere. The hype and popularity was unbeatable, and Apex Legends has proven itself to be the best Battle Royale Shooter playable right now. The game will become 2 years old in only three months and that is a huge milestone to hit in such a competitive genre of gaming. 

In my opinion, Apex Legends would do really well if it became more than just a Battle Royale and expanded on the shooter genre with much more playlists like free for all, team deathmatch etc. Seeing Respawn's success with the Titanfall franchise, there is so much potential for this. This alone would put Apex Legends a step ahead of the competition, make its presence known in the shooter genre. I would personally find it awesome to see the Legends compete in an entirely different style of the Apex Games!

I do present this idea with the knowledge that taking this route comes with great risk but great rewards for EA and Respawn. It will take a lot of times, effort and money to create this next stage of Apex Legends while ensuring that the current game is constantly updated and fresh. Hopefully this is something we see in the future that can uplift Apex's popularity and make it a much more enjoyable experience.
