Apex Legends Ranked Matchmaking

One of the biggest complaints I hear and experience myself is being matched with low level players when you’re already max level. In my opinion, what all the other battle royal games lack, and most multiplayer games for the matter, is that there should be a skilled matchmaking. A ranked/skilled matchmaking based off skill and not just level. One could play every day and be max level, and their skill could be the same as any low level. In my opinion, a players level should be determined by their skill consisting of kills, wins, and other accomplishments. The better you play, the higher your skill level, or rank should be. And visa versa, the worse you do the lower your skill/rank level. In other words, you’ll matchmake against players within your own tier of skill. If you improve, you move up the tiers, and if you aren’t playing well you move down the tiers. This would eliminate the issue where very experienced players would always trump over the less experienced players. At least the lower tiered players would still be able to have some competitiveness. This has been done in other multiplayer games, Halo 2 being one example.
