Apex Legends: Split-screen for Console players

Hey! I was hoping you could add some sort of split-screen option for console players. Since the game is free I don't see any reason why there wouldn't be a split screen option. Most online FPS games has split-screen, even Fortnite has online split-screen. It would add a lot of more great team experience to the game for partners or siblings wanting to enjoy the game together.
