Apex Lobby Pop-ups END lore "direct messages"?!

What happened:

1) I loaded into Apex,

2) got to the lobby,

3) & started receiving one of those lore voice messages from a certain adversarial Salvonian lass.

4) Around one second passes.

5) The message goes silent and disappears as those scrolling pop-up "ads" appear.

I hope that isn't gone forever. Please fix.

PS: Can we get an option in settings to make those ads less intrusive PLEASE.

The same thing happened at the start of the Wargames event. The corporate message popup appeared and stopped Maggie's message.
This happened on Origin/PC and Nintendo Switch versions in the exact same way.
