@Palette24carats Hah, no. Speaking with teammates, there's constant issues where we're both the same distance from an opponent, and only one of us can hear them moving. Also, I often can't hear my teammates' nearby gunfire.
@nebwise Exactly... one of them hears it ... because he has a good headset or his volume is loud enough. With FPS games you need one of the two to hear well footsteps from far they sell all kind of products for that from audio mixer, audio amplifier to clear sounding headsets and 3d audio headsets. If you play on speakers forget it you won't be able to hear footsteps from far from all the other sounds. So many reasons that players don't hear footsteps... and it's not because of bad programming.
