Bad Customer Service from EA

Has anyone else had a really bad experience with the EA help customer experience? I submitted a case regarding content I lost on my apex account on my ps4 and when they finally contacted me they would keep asking me for the same information everytime and just pass me to someone else in the next email who would ask me the same thing. It’s been a week now and nothing has yet to be resolved. I’ve given them so much info yet nothing has been done. At this rate I’ve already unlocked so much of the stuff I lost in the first place, not including skins. What’s up with that?

    Hi there, @Shypizza99

Unfortunately, we can't help with missing content through Answers HQ. You'll need to contact an advisor again. To do that, try messaging @EAHelp through Twitter or open a case with a live support advisor here: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. You can also go to facebook.com/eahelphub to get in touch with support. They'll look into this for you. Thanks!

I've done all of this with my cases (110288522 & 111063558), having had the same problem of missing Apex Coins. I've had a very similar experience to the OP:

Original case required another case to be opened.

That case was set to 'awaiting player input' despite nothing being sent to me.

When chased, it was stealthily changed to fixed, despite it not being fixed.

I've been greeted by 3 different advisors, effectively starting again, none of whom have actioned anything.

I've uploaded the required screenshots 4 times so far.

Live chat is not an option whenever I try to chase it, despite being advised I should speak to someone in live chat.

Two subsequent cases that have appeared in my list of cases immediately go to an error screen.

I had an initial response when I aired it on Twitter but once it went to out-of-public-sight DMs, I've had nothing.

This has been ongoing for three weeks so far.

I've not been able to find a direct complaints procedure - all roads end up at the same place.

So yes, I've had exemplary bad service from EA. I doubt even this post here will give me anything new. I will likely get redirected to the same place I've been a hundred times and told to try the same things I've tried. I dare someone to take responsibility and fix the issue. All the info you need are in those cases. I double dare you.

  • @Shypizza99 I've had a similar issue where I was reporting an problem with my account.

I kept getting responses from different advisors - all asking me for my name, email, and the affected account's ID, only to get sent to another advisor once I respond.

That case also had a "waiting on player" and I ended up just closing the case as I was able to resolve the problem myself.

However, 3 days of being asked the same questions and bounced between advisors was not fun.
