Hey, I just saw my first Lifeline bot, standing still and punching, and shot and killed it, so my first bot kill too... LOL
I'm assuming the player base is dying off and now EA has to fill the lobby with bots...

This is still happening, they usually land in batches of 5 or 6 Lifelines.

But in all seriousness, on one hand, we got these bots, on the other hand, non-stop cheating and smurphing, I'm fighting through Gold I trying to reach plat, and its not easy since the game is allowing diamond and up players to be in the gold match.
Although, I haven't seen any of these bot Lifelines or Bangalores, only on enemy teams or on my team where when you shoot at them, you can feel like they're thinking, "?!?!?", and they die really quickly. I've easily killed a Wraith and an Octane who acted like this. What modes and/or rank tier are you queing into?Righty-O, the botting issue is being investigated and they're currently already banning some of them according to someone from the security team.
Not a fan of crossposting, though a screenie n stuff can be found in this thread.
Entirely possible that they've been working on this for a while, so I doubt this statement is going to change the current matter.
Though I do hope we see some changes to this soon since I've seen so many players complain about it.
