Banned While Inactive – No Explanation, No Chance to Defend Myself
Hi everyone,
I'm really hoping someone here might be able to help or at least share a similar experience.
I hadn’t logged into my EA account or played any EA games for a while, but when I recently tried to come back, I found that my account had been banned. No prior warning, no clear explanation — just banned.
I’ve contacted EA Support multiple times and all I got was a generic response saying the ban was justified and that the case is closed. No one has explained what exactly I did wrong or when it supposedly happened. I wasn’t even active during that time, so I honestly have no idea how I could’ve violated anything.
What’s more frustrating is that there’s no opportunity to talk to a real person or even request evidence. It feels like the system makes a decision, and then it’s “case closed” with no room for human review.
I understand the importance of enforcing rules, but it really seems unfair to be banned for something I didn’t do — especially when I haven’t even been playing. I just want a chance to clear things up or at the very least, know what I was actually banned for.
If anyone from EA sees this, I’d really appreciate a second look.
