I'm going to start saving my clips of when I've destroyed a 3v1 and got my gf banner and would have got the others if they didnt quit. Its 90 seconds to wait, hardly criminal.
@AdmiralTwitchy, that's the only weird thing. Your teammate(s) leave after seeing you take care of the enemies. Not just leave seconds after it happends (that could still be explained by he already opted-out B4 seeing the epicness) but after like 15 secs or he sees you running towards respawn beacon

I've had this happen as well admiral. You get their beacon and they expect you to respawn them right at the one you got their banner from when you know enemies are there. I guess people dont understand tactics and maybe competitive mode will help this.
Also I said a ping system that can say "I'm waiting until the last second to get you"
I'm respawning you at a different beacon, it's not safe"

Forced teamplay is endemic to a lot od mdern games despite it being about as cancerous as plutonium. Not only do you have people getting angry for not doing exactly what someone else wants them to pick, to go land, to go to, to pick up, to play exactly as...
Adding mechanisms to punish people for leaving and taking themselves out of a game helps nobody. You encourage angry people to stay in games insead of moving onto better ones.
There's no point to respawning anyway unless you care more about winning than playing. When you respawn you don't start with anything. Starting a new game puts anyone in a better position because you're not going up against people with all the tweaked guns yet. Why should anyone stick it out to be a meatshield and distraction?

If you don't care about winning I don't want you on my team. Maybe you would quit Apex? good, good riddens the game is better off without people like that. The game won't die, and cs:go, pubg are not dead either.
QUITTING IS CHEATING. I've been saying that for years. Just as much as stacking teams is cheating. Exploiting maps and weapons is cheating etc... League of Legends is extremely popular because it encourages competitive matches. Period. It has nothing to do with the fact its a moba. We all know FPS games are more sporting and usually have better graphics., They are simply less popular cause of more unsportsmanlike players in the community and more likely have developers who don't care about competitive matches.
This doesn't mean I don't get just as frustrated at times and that I'm not habitual quitter myself. This game will do that to you. Teamplay is more important in a BR then any other video game mode I've ever played and its very frustrating when your team is not coordinated or equally matched.
But thats why They should only implement a quitting ban, if they actually implement some form of ranked and unranked modes. A ranked mode with team skill matcher for people who care about winning and having competitive matches, and unranked mode for people who just want to "practice" in non competitive matches.
The biggest hurdle to this is not the fact its a br. but the fact people can easily make smurfing tier slumming alt accounts. But then again they can too in LoL and they do alright, so maybe not a big deal. I'm not sure if LoL has some way to deal with smurfers.
