Battlepass leveling is slow

I purchased the battlepass, and within a few games realized that it was going to take forever to get to level 100.

Compared to Fortnite's battlepass, the initial levels of the Apex battlepass require much more xp to level up. Fortnite starts low, around 500xp, then builds up to something like 15000. In Apex, it appears each level takes 29500 xp to level up. I have played about 10 hours since purchasing the battle pass, and I am level 5. Now, the Apex season is longer than the Fortnite one, but there aren't any challenges that can be completed to level up the battlepass faster. The in-game 2.5% boosts don't seem like they will make much difference, especially since I'm still 7 levels (14hr of gameplay) away from the first one.

In order for me to reach level 100 by the end of the season, I have to play minimum 2 hours per week day (one tier per day), and minimum 8 hours per weekend (one additional tier per day). This doesn't seem feasible in my current life schedule. I would like to see it changed so that people who play casually or just don't buy all the tiers can still reach the max level without binging excessively.

  • no, its not, 100 levels, 3 months, 1 lv per day, one hour, not including futore xp boosts

  • It is not slow. I got 20 levels in the first week.

Just max out your weekly legend bonus for each legend and get 1 kill a day with each legend

  • The season is 3 months.. which means it should take long time to level up..

  • Totally agree, I hope they are reconsidering the senseless/insane grind required to lvl up the BP. All those AFK farmers that appeared after the BP somehow proves there is something odd here.
