Be safe, insult people with in voice chat and stay unpunished! (sarcasm)

Be safe, insult people with in voice chat and stay unpunished!

Here is the story, many of us may have gone through it at some point.

- Playing apex (arena just for training)

- gets verbally assaulted and abused by 2 russian premade , for a small gameplay mistake (i guess they are with accent and their speech i may be wrong)

- keep calm and play

- these 2 russian bots keeps insulting me and punching my character

- i type "shoot them you *abusive word* " , fueled by their rage and seeing them inactive

- gets 7 days ban (i will take it i somewhat deserve it, i won't contest them)

- they get nothing because there is no proof of them , nor record in text chat.

While i responded to the assault with hatred, they started it and i get punished.
lesson learned , the game will forever be toxic and filled with voice chat abusers and you'll get punished if you don't have a mic.
Be safe everyone! and only use your mic to slur online!

(this is sarcasm obviously, don't be toxic like these two specific russians)

if an admin sees this, i won't contest my ban, however i would like to see my two perpetrator punished too.
Case Number : 116801073

  • Same here just got suspended for one week for not saying anything. Their report says otherwise so I'm done with this game. Apparently, this is how they treat player these days.

  • I used EAs manual report function (not the one in game but on their support page) and posted a video of a premade  duo (both ofc with about 1/5 of my dmg dealt at the moment of their deaths) who literally bombarded me with racial and homophobic slurs and insults for 2 minutes.... After about a week, the status of that case was "no solutions possible" or something like that. A month later the case was closed. I never heard from EA about it so I assume that they didnt get punished.

So yes, It seems like you are totally safe to say whatever you want on voice coms =)

@BalladalidilaEA will not notify you, if anyone you report gets banned, it is on the website. You will never know, be happy that you did the right thing and move on. They respect the privacy of their players, even the bad apples of the bunch.

    @BigMacAttack8u

You do get a confirmation mail if you successfully report someone for harassments in game. I just got two such mails. They look like this.

But perhaps is this not the case with manual bans with attached evidence because these type of cases require an actual person to look at it and make a decision. It wouldn't surprise me if this is just not possible to handle and these type of reports just goes straight into the trash bin.
