What is exactly happening when you shoot at someone, yet miss enough shots (as far as you knew), where it wouldn't knock the enemy, but shortly afterwards they get knocked, and it said it was by you?
I've had it happened a few times now, where I would go to reload, and they would get knocked, and times where they run behind a door, I would reload, and somehow they got knocked that way.
Hrm its very hard to understand exactly what you mean without watching a clip of such incident. You say there is a significant amount of time between your "last" shot that lands and when the enemy is knocked? Sounds really weird and I havent experienced that myself.
BTW I just found this tweet from Respawn. Pretty old but they literally confirm here there are netcode issues when playing against certain players with "bad connections". But please keep in mind that they are not explaining exactly what they are talking about so perhaps we shouldnt jump to concussion about either what the netcode issues are or if "bad connections" means high ping and/or just unstable connections etc etc.
- Midnight97463 years agoHero+@Balladalidila I'm reffering to emptying a mag, reloading that weapon as soon as I could, and it just says "knocked [player]". Hasn't happen recently, although wondered why it did happen at all.
The delay is like a second or two before the other player is knocked.- Balladalidila3 years agoSeasoned Ace
Hrmm unless something random like they getting hit my one tick of circle dmg that knocks them I never experienced this, at least not 1-2 seconds after I shot the last bullet. But when you mentioned it, I have experienced some occasions when I spray and the knock comes as a pleasant surprise literally from the last bullet of my spray when I am fairly sure that I need to switch weapon or reload to finish the fight. But then we are talking about like 0.2 seconds into the reload animation and not full seconds.
Haha I cant even tell if you are being serious or sarcastic.
- 3 years ago@Balladalidila Haha, I figured my post may come across as such. I believe there is some truth to that absolutely. I have also seen the footage posted from the live Dev stream way back and they actually admitted how they re-write history or (change history) with what they called a "Blended history rewriting mechanism." verbatim.
It was explained that this is done deliberately for the players with super high ping.
Much like the MM, which they call SBMM (skill based) which it is anything but. I agree they do assign you a skill rating but then use that skill rating to set you up to win and lose in patterns. Patterns shown through research paid for by hard earned EA money which statistically showed to keep people playing longer.
So at this point, I wouldn't discard these types of accusations quickly and without strategic assessment and an open mind for profit building. : )
I personally believe Apex is more rigged in many different ways than not. But thats just my opinion. Created from thousands of hours of playing Apex and really paying close attention to when specifics happen seeing consistent patterns in game. Some of us would do things specifically to watch how the system reacts and documented lots. It was the only way to see patterns of how players in the gaming industry are at the mercy of the game developers and the companies that control them.
Money moves the world my friend. Then again, I just noticed a small hole in my tinfoil hat. So maybe take with a grain of salt lol.
