Better enemy outlines

Can we please have better outlines for allies and enemies? For me, and I'm sure for many others, I actually have a hard time discerning enemies from the environment and even ally players. Call it a s...

My honest opinion, get a better monitor (not being sarcastic, just honest). My bad if you didn't reply me, couldn't tell, as it didn't show.

At no point should a game trying to convey to its community as being competitive, should cater to accessibility and/ or contain on-screen helpers. The issue isn't the game, the issue is your personal setup.

If you add something, you also have to take it away. So if you get more contrast between characters and their surroundings, you lose stealth in the process. Do you like this return? Because I don't.

So when companies try to add, I don't look at it like a feature, But what is the opposite thing I lost.

Watching Apex Legends now compared to 2019 is like watching Jurassic Park 5 (or whatever they have it up to). It just doesn't make any sense.

@Popa2caps The problem is my eyeballs, actually, not my setup. My eyes suck. This change helps me play Apex, a game I love, a little more. We're not talking highlighting through smoke, through walls, x-ray vision, we're talking a highlight when you're looking almost directly at a person in line-of-sight. It's something that a normal person should, and in 99% of cases would, already see, and now it's got a small red outline so I can see it some of the time too.

There's already bloodhound for scans, crypto for scans, Seer for scans, Valk for scans, every survey beacon on the map active for scans, and Vantage already had highlighting - and all recon legends get ADS highlighting now too. It's not like this is a new feature, it's just now available for everyone, only at close range, in a much more limited capacity. And it applies for everyone, so it's not an 'advantage' to anyone competitively.

Accessibility is a good thing.

Respawn is trying to convey that Apex Legends is a competitive team-based shooter. Accessibility doesn't fit into that narrative.

I look at video games as a business, not as a movie. You want more ability to see, but with that request puts people at a disadvantage. Opposite effect, you get more ability to see, and you also become easier to see.

Also, everything you said about scanning. Respawn doesn't know what to do about cheaters (being honest here). It's a free to play game, banned people just come back and play for free.

Give everyone basic cheaters, reports of actual cheaters go down, as no one expects wrongdoing. Security theater, nothing more.
